"Soooooo...how'd your date with Arthur go?" My best (and only) friend Stacey asks over the phone.
"Well, we just studied. Nothing really happened. Except...ah, it was nothing."
"Girl, tell me! I want all of the details."
"He- I think he almost kissed me."
"REEEAALLYYY?!?!" She practically screamed into her end of the line, causing me to quickly pull mine away and cringe.
"You're so loud!" I joke. "But yes, I think so."
"Ooh, girl! Ship it!"
I just roll my eyes and hang up, setting my phone down on my bed, wondering what Arthur is up to right now.
I plug in my headphones, turning on my TØP playlist on Spotify, and jamming out until drifting to sleep.
