I gave the poem to Kate and she said nothing. I was waiting all lunch to see what she would say but Kate said nothing. I told josh and he said "Mark you are so nice". I already knew that but sometimes it's nice to be noticed now it was recess. I went over to play some soccer. I was ok at soccer not the best, in my perspective. My friends tell me that i'm good but I think they are just saying that to make me feel good. I do wish that I could just be some were I can hear things I don't want to hear. Well the rest of the periods flew by and it was time to go home. I went home thinking what is she thinking I arrived at school and she said yes. That moment changed my life forever. We went every where together. She would come to my baseball games in the summer. In the winter to my basketball games and in the fall to my soccer games. Every game I won she would give me the biggest hug ever. We had a pretty good relationship. I would go to see her dance, but trying to avoid her parents because I am terrified of them. One day Kate came up to me and said that we are breaking up. I was devastated and i begged her not to. She said that it was not it was her and she was not ready for a relationship. I respected her decision and walked away heartbroken. As I walked to my locker and my other friend Jamie came up to me and asked me if I was ok. I told her no and I explained what happened. She told me well maybe it is time for you to move on. My brain told me I should but for some reason my heart said no. For a while my brain and heart were fighting. Then one day my brain won and I gave up.
