The Return of Evil

Prologue

"Moon, could you watch Peacemaker?" Hope asked Moon. Peacemaker looked up at Moon, then his mother. Moon nodded. "Of course." She said. "Thanks," Hope said and disappeared into the trees. "So what do you want to do?" Moon asked Peacemaker. "Mud pies and strawberries?" Peacemaker asked hopefully. Moon smiled. "Which one first?" She asked. Peacemaker thought for a millisecond then said, "Strawberries!" Moon laughed and they walked over to the strawberry patch. After they picked strawberries for a few minutes, Moon froze and her eyes went blank. Peacemaker looked at her, wondering what her vision was about. When Moon went back to normal, she blinked for a few moments. Suddenly, dragons burst into the patch. They were NightWings, and they all had white eyes. Peacemaker spotted his mother amongst them. "Mom?" He whispered. Moon shielded Peacemaker, but he was able to get a look. "I've been looking for you, Mind Reader." One of them snarled. They charged at her and Moon shoved Peacemaker away. "Peacemaker! You have to find Auklet, Cliff, Bumblebee, Mink, and Dusky!" She yelled at him as the five NightWings pinned her down. Peacemaker's legs were frozen to the ground. "Go, please!" Moon said, tears streaming down her snout. Suddenly a HiveWing came out of the trees, walked over to Moon, and stabbed her with his tail. Moon's eyes became white, and the NightWings got off her. "Get him next," Moon ordered, but not in her voice. Staring in horror, Peacemaker fled into the trees

Peacemaker studied his map. "Where should I go first..." he murmured. "The Kingdom of Sea and the Ice Kingdom are the closest, and I could make my way to the other one." He was in the desert now, and he hated it. "Ice Kingdom." He decided, flying in that direction.

Peacemaker walked into the IceWing palace. In a room, many things were knocked over and/or broken. He heard commotion coming from a room. He peeked in the room and saw multiple IceWings, including Snowfall, with white eyes and surrounding a terrified and tied-up Mink. Peacemaker went to the other room. He grabbed an ice sculpture and threw it on the ground, breaking it. He heard talonsteps coming into that room and hid. While they were distracted, he slid into the room where Mink was. Mink looked up at him with fear, her mouth bound. "I'm not mind-controlled," he reassured her. He untied the ropes around her mouth. "W-why are you h-here?" She asked. "I was in the rainforest and then a bunch of mind-controlled dragons invaded me and Moon and Moon said I needed to find you, Auklet, Cliff, Bumblebee, and Dusky. Were they trying to mind-control you?" Peacemaker asked. Mink nodded. Peacemaker untied the rest of the ropes. He heard talonsteps coming closer. "Quick! We need to go!" Peacemaker commanded, grabbing Mink's arm and dragging her into a hiding spot. The IceWings roared with fury when they found Mink gone. Peacemaker and Mink flew out a nearby window. "W-w-where are we g-going next?" Mink asked. "Jade Mountain Academy, to get Bumblebee and Dusky." Peacemaker replied. Mink nodded, and they flew in the direction of the academy.

Peacemaker and Mink walked into Jade Mountain Academy. Peacemaker heard growling coming from the prey center. "Stay here," he said to Mink. He walked into the prey center. Mind-controlled dragonets of destiny cornered Bumblebee and Dusky. Bumblebee was shielding Dusky, who was trembling. Peacemaker decided to distract them the same thing he did with the IceWings. He went into the art cave and ripped a few paintings. He quickly hid as he heard talonsteps. Peacemaker went back to Mink. " We need to get Bumblebee and Dusky while they're distracted. " He said. Mink nodded and they walked into the prey center. Bumblebee looked up to check their eyes. "We're not mind-controlled. And you guys need to come with us." Peacemaker said. " Why? " Bumblebee asked. Peacemaker heard talonsteps coming. "No time to explain!" Peacemaker said, grabbing Mink and Bumblebee's arms. Bumblebee wiggled her talon out and shrugged, taking Dusky in her talons and flying out the window with Mink and Peacemaker. Once they were out of earshot, Bumblebee asked, "sooooooo now can you tell us why we're here?" Peacemaker explained his story. " Ah. So we're going to the Sky Kingdom next? " She said. "Yeah." Peacemaker said.

Peacemaker landed near the mountains and heard laughter in the forest. He went towards it and the others followed. He peeked through the undergrowth and saw Auklet and Cliff playing. Auklet splashed Cliff and giggled. Peacemaker stepped into the forest. He signaled to the others and they came too. Cliff and Auklet looked up. "So, guys, I need to tell you something." Peacemaker said. He started to explain what happened, but only got to the part where he went to get Mink when dragons burst into the forest. They had white eyes. Of COURSE. "We have to go." Peacemaker said , tugging on their arms. Everyone flew after Peacemaker. A blast of fire shot in their direction, and they dodged.  As soon as they were gone, Peacemaker continued his story. "So let's go save the world!" Auklet and Bumblebee said at the same time. " W-we should start at Pantala. " Dusky said. "Th-that's where the B-breath of E-evil comes from, right?" All of them nodded, and they flew into the distance .
