Perfectly cropped hair, walking like a model; Vanessa Ramier was the one to beat. She goes to the gym six out of seven days of the week, wears only the most flattering clothing, and joined Sixteen because she knew she would win. She is what the world would call "The Perfect Woman."

At this moment, she was hanging from a tree, watching two contestants converse. Even catapillars considered her perfect, because they crawled all over her arms. Vanessa would never admit it, but she despised catapillars. All they ever did was eat until they magically became beautiful. "That's not how life worked," Vanessa would constantly say whenever she saw one.

As of the beginning of this round, she had observed five different people wandering around aimlessly, including two contestants talking under the tree she was perched.

At that moment Vanessa decided to climb down silently to surprise them. The curly blonde screamed bloody murder as Vanessa fell to the ground. "OHMYGOSHWE'REGONNADIE!" The dark haired guy beside the blonde stared at Vanessa with wide eyes, but didn't move.

"You're not going to die," Vanessa sighed. "My name is Vanessa, consider me your Athena." She was going to try convince them to join her, but the blonde was an idiot, Vanessa could tell.

The blonde fell to the ground, eyes wide. She held her hand on her forehead dramatically, and groaned. "You almost gave me a heart attack!! Who are you, anyway??" She sat up right after, proving to Vanessa that she was nothing but a drama queen.

The other one, the dark-haired guy, stared at Vanessa with a tired look, and quickly stepped away from the blonde, saying, "I don't know her."

Vanessa raised an eyebrow and crossed her arms. She didn't see reason to believe him one bit, but knew that gaining his trust was important to achieving success this round, so she just nodded. "Figured. You look uncomfortable. Hey, how about you join me? With my help, I'm certain we'll win."

The blonde's jaw drops, and she frowns. "Nooooo, I found him first!" She gets up, resting her hands on her hips. Her outfit was dirty, her curly hair was resting in a messy ponytail, held up by a weirdly good-looking quality scrunchie, and her face was a mess. She didn't leave a good impression on Vanessa.

You snooze, you lose, she thought smugly. "I'm sure he'd much rather an intelligent partner that'll get him somewhere." Vanessa turned to face him, but was left with an empty space.

"Wha...?"
