Winter stuffs her hands into her pockets of the grey hoodie from some knockoff brand as she walks to the corner shop to buy some snacks, well she's forced by Ningning who's too lazy to move from the sofa, and the breeze hits her face messing her bangs up. Annoyed, she fixes them up briefly.
She goes through the entrance immediately sets her eyes on the food in front of her, I only have 5 pounds.. how am I supposed to buy anything with that? Winter wanders around the shop thinking of what to buy that's delicious, confusing the cashier too who's about to get dizzy as Winter walks back and forth. "Ughh.. why did Father want to torture me on a good day!?" She hears a loud groan behind her, curious of whose familiar voice belongs to she looks behind, not expecting a pretty bitch.
"WHY ARE YOU HERE?!" The two scream in unison startling everyone around them, Karina scrunches her nose while Winter ignores her walking away instantly when their eyes met, she couldn't deal with her.
Not today.
"Oh come here!" Karina storms gripping tight on her bag to Winter who keeps on ignoring the older minding her own business, purposely annoying the shit out of her. "Get away from me," she mumbles, it was barely heard but the older girl has great hearing. Karina didn't listen, well of course it was Karina after all.
She closes the gap between the two, "Oh you're not getting away with all the avoiding you did!" Winter smirks at the sentence, pleased that she made the infuriated girl so.. bothered about the kiss.
Winter snickers "so I have an effect on you?" The voice was extremely low, and seductive, it didn't make Karina blush but gave her an idea to make a new rumour up. "Not really, just gave me an idea for a rumour about you." It caught Winter off guard.
"Then why did you bring this up..?" Karina became frustrated at how oblivious the cute girl is, "cause I deserve an explanation, dumbass!" She spats with her eyebrows furrowing deeper. "Well you aren't getting shit" Winter tries to walk off again, running away from problems is a habit for her but this time a hand stops her.
Expecting it was Karina, she was about to go off but her mouth instantly closes when she saw the face.
Kai? This day is really full of surprises... "What are you doing here?" Kai scratches his neck nervous, all the girls would faint of joy but Winter gave him the dirty look. "I just saw you here, I have a question though, do you mind if I ask?" Guess Ningning can wait and starve.
"Go on, I don't care." There was awkwardness in the air, first Karina disappeared and a guy is there, secondly, she doesn't have all day, she barely knows him. "Why wouldn't you respond to my texts? You have me on delivered for a month!" He whines extremely cringing Winter, she bit her lip to not say anything harsh.
"Kai, I've been busy for a while. I barely know you" Kai scoffs and Winter knew the tension level rises. "We will know each other if we talk or at least text." He retorts pissed off at the pathetic excuses thrown at him, "well sorry then, I'll text you tomorrow. I don't have all day for a needy guy like you" and there's Winter running away from the furious guy.
The question running through her mind was.. where has Karina gone?
Edited the chapter, and changed everything up. The next chapters will have quite a lot of drama.. 🤭
