The bell rings, you pack your things up and walk out the class room as your walking down the hall you suddenly crash to the floor as you look up you still Grace, your school bully for 4 years straight now, "oops didn't see you there" she says with a smirk across her face. You think she's going to grab your books and help you up but instead she goes to your water bottle opens the lid and empties the water over you "god you look even more like a drowned rat than you did before" she laughs. That's it, you've given up with this, you manage to get to your feet and run as fast as you can out of the school and into the woods, you collapse to the floor and cry.
Your suddenly woken from your flashback to a loud bell ringing, oh my god it's the fire alarm, you jump up and open the bathroom door to see a blazing fire. You start to panic, you close the door and run towards the small window on the wall and try and get it open but it's not working, you bang as hard as you can but no one can hear you...
Eddies POV
"So since the schools on fire does that mean we don't have to be in school a while" he laughs. I hear them calling out the registered everyone's replying until they get to one name "y/n y/l/n. Y/n? Has anyone seen her" the teacher shouts. Shit is she still in the school I think to myself. I have to do something I can't just stand here. I prepare myself for what's coming next, I push my way through the crowds and run into the school, the teachers are shouting for me to come back but I don't listen I can't let her die in there. I use my jacket to cover my mouth whilst trying to call out for her "Y/N!" I yelled. I hear faint banging "Y/N!" I scream again the banging gets louder
Y/n POV
You've come to terms that your probably going to die in here but it wouldn't be the first time you've thought about dying, you close your eyes and curl up on the floor pretending your in bed but you hear a voice shouting your name, is it an angel you think "Y/N!" You hear you start banging your shoe against the radiator hoping someone could hear you "Y/N!" You hear screaming again. It's Eddie? Eddie's come into a burning building for me? You start screaming "Help me please!" You're not ready to die, not now! You get up and walk towards the door, it's now jammed stuck. You start banging on the door and you suddenly hear a bang back "y/n is that you?" Says a male voice.
"Eddie! It's me please help" you scream back. "I'm coming in stand away from the door" he shouts back to you. You stand back but before you see him knocking the door down you collapse too much smoke had gotta into your lungs. You feel these strong arms wrap around you and hold you close as you slowly open your eyes you look up to see Eddie holding you whilst taking you out of the building and placing you down in front of the ambulance, you slowly gain consciousness, your eyes wonder to find Eddie sat opposite you with a mask over his face, he sees your eyes open and jolts up hugging you "y/n you're awake thank god" you hug him back and sink into his warm chest and finally feel safe. What was this feeling? You've just met him you can't have feelings for him already, but he did go into a burning building for you. Stop y/n don't let your heart get broken again. You break away from the hug as he looks at you with his dreamy eyes, "I'm so glad your okay" Eddie says as he kisses your head
