I closed my locker door shut, (lol do u see what i did there its usually shut the locker door closed) and sighed.

Another day at a stupid school,
and 10 more days until the school year ends.

At least one thing makes it worth it.
Actually, 2 things.

2... people.

"Riles!" Maya called.

I smiled. "Maya!"

We hugged and smiled.

"Riley!"

I let go as I sighed happily. Lucas Friar.

I ran to him, his arms wide open, as he picked me up as we hugged.

Oh, I forgot to update for two months.
Me and Lucas are together! ::))

Lucas put me down, kissing my on my forehead. "You know what today is, rebel?"

I smiled sheepishly. "Of course I do, player."

He brought out a box wrapped in plain pink wrapping paper, and handed it over to me. I gushed.
"Happy 2 months, Riles."

I hugged him and took it. "Thank you, Ranger."

I gave him a box wrapped in blue. He smiled. "Happy 2 months, Luke."

(luke, in the story, is riley's nickname for lucas in the story)

Maya chuckled at us. "Okay, Rucas. Open on 3."

We put the presents in our hands, one hand on it to get rippin'.

"1...."

Grip.

"2...."

Ready to-

"3!"

RIP!

I ripped open my gift; Lucas finished after me.

I gasped in has I took out the gift.
It's a charm bracelet; the first charm on it is a black Cinco De Mayo type mask.

Just like the one from the dance.

Lucas wrapped his arms around me from behind, lightly placing his head on the crook of my neck.
"Love you."

He's wearing what I got him; a black and blue necktie. It's like the one he wore at the dance, but that one got wrecked in a dryer.

I smile at him cheekily. "Love you too."

Lucas growled and wrapped his arms around me. "Don't say I love you too. It sounds like you're just agreeing with me."

I died inside right now. If voices could kill....

I chuckled. "I love you Friar."

He let go, amused, his warmth leaving me. "Better."

The bell rang, and we walked together to class; Maya following close behind.

"Belgium, 1831." Cory said, writing on the board.

Farkle grinned wide. "Y-y-y-y-yaaaaaayyyyy!"

I came back from the office.

"Mr.Friar, what did you do this time?" Mr.Matthews (Riley's dad) asked.

I sighed. "Punched a kid in the face, bruised and broken nose."

Mr.Matthews (addressed sometimes as Cory outside of school povs) sighed.
"You're becoming a bad person again."

I punched the desk, and burst.
"Sir, I beg your pardon?! Is that what you want me to start with?! The kid made fun of Maya and Farkle, saying they were terrible friends, idiots, out-casts! I wasn't going to let that stand! Farkle may be a smartass, and Maya may be a jackass, but they are still the best. What the hell was I supposed to do?"

"Lucas-"

The classroom went silent. "What the hell was I supposed to do?!"

Riley looked at me, shaking. "Luke-"

"It's Lucas, Riley!" I screamed.

Everyone turned to face us.
I looked at Riley. She isn't gleefully smiling at me; she's shaking. Sad. Scared.

"I'm sorry..." I said quietly.

I got up from my chair and walked out the door.

I hurt her....

I hurt Riley...

What the hell is wrong with me...
