I got up from my bed.

I should be happy.
I should be happy that Lucas got what he deserved.
Then why am I running after him?

He already left.

I went to my room and wrapped my covers around myself.
They smell like cum and sex.

I walked to school alone, already late for class.

Maya didn't appear at my window to wake me up, to walk me to school.

Where was she?

I walked into my classroom, my dad's class. Everyone glared at me.

What?

I gave my dad my pass.

"Sorry, dad." I muttered.

He sadly frowned, shaking his head, throwing away the paper. "Detention. Lunch."

I gasped. "B-But dad, you've never-"

"I said lunch, and you're doing lunch detention." He snapped. "Now go to your seat."

The class glared at me again as I walked to my seat.

Maya looked at me with a glare that said, "Riley Matthews, you are in deep trouble, and I can't save you this time."

I gulped.

Lucas isn't in his seat.

Oh.. no.

I walked over to lunch detention.

A boy knocked me down, dropping my books.

He snickered. "Sorry." He ran off.

Not before adding the word, "whore."

My face broke as I picked up my books, tears staining the covers.

I am not a whore, I repeated to myself.
I am not. It was one time..

How do they know?!

As I went to detention, Maya was in there already, waiting.

She shoved me to the chair. "Sit. Now."

I shook as I sat down. "How do you know, Maya."

She fisted her hands down onto the desk.

"Do you think this is a fucking joke, Matthews?!" She screamed. "Riley, the entire freshmen class knows what you did with Brandon! You're lucky the staff doesn't know!"

"He cheated on me, Maya!" I cried. "He cheated on me with Missy!"

She stressfully threw a book at me, me whimpering as I barely avoided it.
"Who the hell do you think you are, you fucking drunk ass idiot! We know because Lucas told me, and I told the school! Yes, I betrayed you, only because I heard his part, then Missy told the truth after we got it out of her! YOU'RE the only cheater in here, Riley, because you didn't even try to hear the stupid truth!"

I gulped, choking back tears. "B-but, he-"

"Yes, I know he kissed her, but he was drunk, and trying to push her off! Even Missy admitted trying to steal him while drinking! Lucas was attacked, because he defended you!" She yelled.

She backed up, walking out the door.
"I'm sorry, Riles. If you think the world revolves around you, it doesn't. Until you realize that..."
She let one tear down. "I don't want to be with you anymore. You've become a terrible influence. Good luck; even you're parents and brother knows."

She walked out the door.

I cried out. I need to talk to Lucas.
