Chapter 1 ~ Present day

Violetta ~
I woke up to an alarm clock screaming beside me, I turned around to turn it off of course I was half asleep. Have you ever felt like you never want to get up? I feel as if I could sleep in all day as I was getting dressed, I walked downstairs where I could see Roxy sorting out her school bag. Roxy was 17 years old now it's been 4 years since we left our dad's house, we've been living with Francesca for one year but as I had a promotion in my job, I started to get more money which made me buy another house for just me and Roxy.

The only thing was with Roxy since it's her last year of school she's been hanging out with her boyfriend but the downside is he's a bit of a troublemaker, is always a bad influence on Roxy to misses school and does not do her homework and she listens because love has hit her head, but I'm trying to convince her that it's wrong to miss school and not do her homework each time I talk to Roxy her boyfriend is always there whispering in her ear about me which makes her laugh and act impulsive.

Violetta: Good morning Roxy.

Roxy: Morning, look I can't talk now, I'm meeting up with Jake and I'm already late.

Violetta: Roxy, I don't want you hanging out with him any longer.

Roxy: Excuse me? Who do you think you are?

Violetta: He's a bad influence, but you can't see that because you're in your early age of

love, believe me, I've been there it doesn't end well trust me.

Roxy: who are you? Dad or mom? No, you are my sister and you shouldn't talk to me about

bad influences where you dated your boss you were part of a F*ck pad for God's sake.

Violetta: Roxy! I am just looking out for you.

Roxy: Well, you know what you should start looking out for yourself.

Violetta: Roxy! When you get home from school and you are having a discussion.

Roxy: oh, sorry I can't because I will be sleeping over at Jake's tonight.

Violetta: Oh, you are now? And by who's permission?

Roxy: I'm 17 years old, I don't need permission on who I stay with.

Violetta: You do when you live under my roof misses.

Roxy: I'm leaving, bye.

Violetta: Roxy 'Rosa' Castillo you get here now!!!

Roxy left without a backwards glance at me, I looked at my watch shit I'm going to be late for work and Mr Vargas doesn't like latecomers I'll just have to ring him on the way and explain to him that I'm on the way.

I gathered my things together and locked the door behind me as I got into the car, I started driving to the office block when I saw Roxy in the park with Jake instead of being in school, I parked up on the side of the road and grabbed my bag and walked up to them.

Violetta: Roxy 'Rosa' Castillo, why aren't you at school?

Jake: Oh, here comes your whiny sister, does she have anything better than spying on us?

Violetta: You know what Jake? I never liked it since you walked through my house, I find you rude and quite disgusting I don't even know what my sister sees in you because you are just an awful person.

Roxy: Violetta!!!!

Violetta: Don't you Violetta me Roxy. Get in the car I am taking you to School.

Jake walked up to me and threw his coffee all over me luckily it was cold, and Roxy was laughing because she found it funny.
