Chapter 2 ~

Violetta ~
After a lovely afternoon with Mr Vargas, he took us back to the office block I thanked him for lunch I walked back to my office while I felt Mr Vargas watching me, when I turned around for a backward glance, I saw he disappeared he must've gone to his meeting which he had in 10 minutes. I sat back at my desk, and I saw Lodovica walking up to my door she walked in and sat opposite me with a cheeky smile on her face.

Francesca: Hey Violetta, where have you been?

Violetta: Oh, I went for my lunch break why?

Francesca: With who may I ask?

Violetta: Why do you want to know?

Francesca: Oh, now Violetta I'm your old friend from school you can't play that game with me.

Violetta: Yeah, but you don't tell me your business why should I tell you mine?

Francesca: Because I want to protect you and if you are seeing Mr Vargas the boss it won't be a relationship it will be just sex occasionally.

Violetta: What? But what makes you think I want a relationship with my boss?

Francesca: Well, don't you?

Violetta: No, the last time I slept with my boss it cost my job.

Francesca: Wait a minute, is that how you're at this workplace instead of your old one?

Violetta: No, this is my promotion I got promoted here, which is better because I couldn't be there any longer.

Francesca: VIOLETTA!!! You slept with Tomas Heredia.

Violetta: Shh, keep your voice down.

Francesca: Oh, Violetta Castillo I am surprised.

Violetta: Do you want the whole office to know? Keep your voice down.

Francesca: So, he was your lover?

Violetta: Yes, but now he's my ex-lover.

Francesca: ...

Violetta: Look, how much I love talking to you but I'm going home soon so I must get this done before Mr Vargas shouts at me for not getting my work done.

Francesca left my office and I carried on with my paperwork, but I had a phone call as I opened my phone, I saw the caller ID it was the school's number I answered it and they told me to come and pick up Roxy where she's being suspended. So, I hung up and grabbed my stuff I took the finished paperwork up to Mr Vargas's office as I walked up to his corridor. I saw him with a girl, but I didn't care because I had to go. I waited till the girl went and I went into his office after knocking.

Violetta: Mr Vargas?

Leon: What? Oh, Violetta what's wrong?

Violetta: Uh, here's the finished paperwork where I have to go because I have a Roxy problem.

Leon: Are you okay?

Violetta: I don't know how I feel anymore.

Leon: Hey, do you want me to give you a lift?

Violetta: No, I have my car I'm fine and besides you have a meeting.

Leon: Violetta, you look like you're going to cry, I can cancel my meeting and take you.

I couldn't say anything I just broke down and sat on his sofa, and I cried, I just can't believe how stressful is being responsible for a sister I need a break I can't do any of this on my own any longer. Leon sat down beside me, and he rubbed my lower back to calm me down, when I looked up at him, he had beautiful eyes that I could get lost in he was attractive he gave me a handkerchief. Could I go down that route again? We were close I could feel his minty breath blowing in my face which was relaxing. I rested my head on his hard chest and I could hear his heartbeat it was calming.
