I hold my head and groan. I'm on the ground and shackled to it with a magenta chain. Piper squats down next to me and shakes my torso.
"You with it?"
I groan and nod slightly, everything feels weird. And once more, my torso still has a hole punched in it.
"Cool, don't be scaring us like that."
Piper flicks my forehead, I don't really feel it though. My body feels like a sandbag and I can't move.
"Why am I shackled to the floor.."
"Well. You kind of went shadow demon or something."
"Shadow.. Demon.."
"Yes."
Harmoninea stands up and stretches, she looks at the chain and grabs it. She holds it up and snaps it with her horn as it fades into a blob of magenta light and slinks into her horn.
"You shouldn't need these. I don't know why they showed up"
I nod and rub my face, more pain builds as I hear the drums again. I grip at the floor as my vision tries to go black again.
"Stop it. Stop it. Stop it!"
I cry out to the room around me, Harmoninea grabs my necklace and rips it from my neck. Everything stands still, my wound hurts even more as the shadow holding it filled slinks away. I can only sit there as the waves of pain hit me like a train. I crumple and whine over my torso and stomach. Piper holds my shoulders and guides me back laying on my side at least, I feel like i'm going to vomit. Harmoninea holds the chain of my necklace and mends the chain with a weave of magenta. Piper puts a hand over my hand, her touch is warm and comforting.
"Calm down now Pixy,"
"...it hurts..."
"I know, it's happened to me before."
"...but you... fix yourself... I can't.."
"That doesn't mean it doesn't hurt."
"...aren't you used... to it"
"Somethings yes, others not. Having a hole in your gut isn't fun"
"You still can't die from this.. At least not for long.."
"Pain still exists Pixy, I may be a phoenix but I still have human reactions to pain."
Another wave of pain hits me as I curl and dry hurl,
"...where.. Is.. Lavender.."
"She'll be here soon, I assure you kid"
"Gods.. I hope so.."
I lean back and fall asleep, the lack of those voices really helps. It's so quiet for once. This is true bliss, not in that pit of shadows.

I find myself waking up in the infirmary, the lights are bright and hurt my eyes as I come to. I groan and reach for my head, I look around. Nobody. I sit up and brush my hair from my eyes. I'm in the storage room turned operating room. Shelves of medical equipment sit lined up to my left, a table with red stained materials sits to my right. In Front of me is a curtain, a few footsteps echo from beyond it. A set of shoes walk up beyond the curtain, a winged figure stands there for a moment before pulling the curtain back.
Two toned eyes, light purple hair, collared shirt, light purple fluffy wings, skirt, light purple wolf tail, all brought together with a soft face. She walks up to me and smiles at the foot of the bed.
"Lav?.." I reach out to her and sit up.
"Yeah?"
"You're.."
"Alive and safe, yes."
"How long was I out?"
"About a day,"
"Really?"
"Yeah, Harmoninea filled me in on what happened. I've been monitoring you since I got back" she smiles, it felt like she was repressing what happened.
"What all.. Happened to you.."
"I don't want to... talk about it"
"What about.. The others"
"They're all alive. Kit has been hiding in her dorm though"
"Oh?"
"Something must've happened while she and Storm were alone, she was all sorts of hurt."
"Likely.. So.."
She sighs and stretches her arm. I now realize that hey, my torso doesn't feel like it has a hole in it. My necklace is still missing though. I wonder what happened with Kit, I know she likes to be alone but she's never really hid like she is now.
