i found a silky light pink dress that fit tight enough to show off my figure. it was cute and i decided on that with some sparky heels. i pinned my hair up in a middle ponytail and put some cute sparkly pins in it, and did my makeup with some rhinestones. i thought i looked really pretty, but there was only one persons opinion that really mattered to me.
"how do i look, chris?" i asked, walking out of his bathroom. he looked me up and down. and dramatically dropped his jaw. he walked up to me , wrapping his arms around my waist and hugging me.
"you look absolutely amazing, lynn." he said, pulling away from the hug. i smiled , tugging on his shirt.
"you don't look so bad yourself, cutie" i said, turning around and walking out of his room. or attempting to atleast, but he grabbed my hand and spun me around,
"cutie, huh?" he said, his face inches from mine. i was stunned, not saying a word. he giggled and hugged me once more, resting his head on top of mine and kissing it once before letting go. i smiled at him, and exited his room. almost sweating. i sprayed some perfume on me to cover it, placed it back in my bag i had strung across my shoulder and walked downstairs to the kitchen. i sat on the couch in the living room, waiting for everyone to be done. a few minutes later, nick and matt walked into the living room together, sitting to my left.
"you look great evelynn" matt said, and nick agreed.
"thanks guys. where's chris? he's taking forever" i said. as i said that i felt warm arms wrap around me, hugging me from behind the couch.
"i'm ready" he said, smiling. he walked around and sat next to me. he subconsciously placed his hand on my thigh, and little did he know i was freaking out in my head. i played it cool, and once it was time to go we all headed to the van. chris sat passenger seat, i sat in the back with nick.
"are we there yet", chris said for the hundredth time.
"chris if you say that one more time i'm gonna say yes and drop you off in the middle of the road, now shut it." matt said, clearly getting frustrated.
"calm down matty boy" i said, yawning from the back seat.
"you are taking a while, you drive like a grandma" nick said.
"will everyone just shut up, we're here" he said, pulling into the driveway. i got excited and jumped out of the car along with chris, and we walked to the front doorstep with nick and matt close behind us. we just walked in since we were a little late and the music was already loud. we saw around 50 people cluttered around dancing and by the drink stand, and me and chris looked at eachother.
"i'll be designated driver, y'all go have fun" i said, and matt tossed me the keys. i put them in my purse, and when i looked up all three of them were already at the drink stand. they're crazy.

a/n, (i know they would never do this irl, it's just for the story. ly all!)

after about an hour i saw chris playing beer pong against matt. i walked over to them.
"where's nick?" i asked, practically yelling over the loud music. chris shrugged his shoulders.
"i dunno" he said, very into this match. i walked away from them, and eventually found out nick was in the upstairs bathroom, after a lot of asking around. i knocked on the door.
"occupied" i heard, along with sniffling.
"nick it's me, let me in" i said, and i heard the click of a lock. i stepped in and shut the door behind me, and saw a crying nick sitting on the ground. i rushed to him and sat next to him
"what's wrong nick?" i asked, placing my hand on his arm for comfort.
"some guy asked me for my number, so i gave it to him! and guess what? i saw him making out with someone five minutes later! like why even ask?" he ranted on, crying more.
"aww nick, it's gonna be okay babes. there's gonna be assholes like that , that come along. he's not worth your tears. come on, let's go party and have fun! don't waste a perfectly good night!" i said, trying to cheer him up. i stood up and put my hand out to help him up. he took my hand and stood up, wiping his face.
"thanks eve, love you" he said.
"i love you too, now go have fun" i said, ushering him out of the bathroom. once he was out i shut the door myself. i slid down the wall and sighed, this party was so boring. i can't drink, the boys haven't talked to me all night, and i have absolutely nothing to do. im better off just going home and picking them up later. i sat there in my thoughts, when the door busted open and shut quickly, chris had came in and locked it, before rushing to the toilet and throwing up. i stood up and ran over to him, rubbing his back and moving his hair out of his eyes.
"you okay, chris?" i said once he was done, and he sat down by the toilet. i flushed it for him. he nodded,
"thank you lynn." he said, leaning his back on the tub. i stood up, about to leave when i heard him behind me.
"wait- can you stay?" he said, looking down like he didn't expect that to come out of his mouth. i smiled and nodded, walking over to him and sitting next to him. he leaned his head on my shoulder, and interlocked our hands together.
"thank you for helping me" he said, i could tell he was really drunk still.
"you're welcome chris, you would've done the same" i replied, rubbing the back of his hand with my thumb.
"how do you always know how to make me smile? everything you do just makes me happy." he blurted out.
"well i guess knowing you so long got me a few bonus points." i said, giggling. he lifted his head up and made eye contact.
"no but really lynn, i've never been sad around you. you brighten up my day instantly." he says, and i pull him into a hug. i run my fingers through his hair.
"thank you chris, that's really sweet." i said, getting no response. i attempt to pull away, but he tightens his grip.
"can we just stay like this for a minute, please?" he said, burying his head in my neck. i giggled and agreed, again scratching his scalp softly. i kissed his head once, and i felt him smile against my neck.
