i woke up in chris' grip, and rubbed the sleepiness out of my eyes. i looked up to see a sleeping chris. i couldn't help but stare for a few seconds. i started noticing things that i had never paid close attention to before. like how everytime he takes a breath his eyelashes flutter. and how his hair rests hanging over his eyes perfectly. cheesy, i know. i moved his hair out of his face, and tapped his shoulder lightly.
"chris" i whispered. he groaned in response.
"wake up" i whispered again, to which he slowly fluttered his eyes open. i smiled at him.
"morning weirdo" i said, giggling a bit.
"morning pretty girl" he said, which made my cheeks heat up a bit.
"blushing, lynn?" he said, giggling. i shook my head no.
"never.." i paused, "pretty boy." his cheeks turned a light shade of pink.
"blushing, chrissy?" i mocked.
"never" he said, giggling. i got out of bed.
"can i borrow some of your clothes? i need to shower" i asked, opening his closet door.
"duhh, you don't gotta ask lynn" he said, sitting up in bed. i smiled as a response, and pulled out some gray sweats and a random t-shirt from his closet. i walked to the bathroom and locked the door behind me, turning on the water.

i walked out of the bathroom to an empty room with no chris to be seen. i grabbed my phone and walked downstairs, but before i could make it all the way down i heard whispers from the kitchen. of course i had to listen, and it sounded like chris and matt.

"dude, i know you like her!" i heard matt whisper yell, talking to chris.
"no i don't! why does everyone say that? we are just friends." he said back, sounding annoyed.
"friends that flirt? y'all totally have some kind of spark!" matt replied.
"matt, even if i lived in the same fantasy world you live in, there's no way in hell she likes me. it's never gonna happen!" chris said back. i didn't know who they were talking about, but hearing them talk about chris liking a girl, for some reason, kinda stung. but i wasn't jealous. i don't like chris like that anyways. he can date who he wants..!
"you're kidding. she totally does, chris!" matt replies, slightly louder than before.
"matt, drop it. it's never gonna happen." he said, walking out of the kitchen. i took that as my cue to walk all the way down the stairs. i walked into the kitchen pretending i didn't hear any of that.
"morning matt, where's chris?" i asked.
"oh- morning evelynn, hes in the bathroom he'll be out in a sec" he replied, walking into the living room. i sat at the island and got on my phone, when chris walked into the kitchen. he went behind me and wrapped his arms around my neck, and rested his chin on my head.
"hi chrissy" i said, putting my hand on his arm.
"hi lynn" he replied, kissing the top of my head and walking to the fridge. he pulled out a pepsi and sat next to me.
"any plans for today?" he asked, pulling out his phone.
"alahna texted me a few minutes ago asking if we wanted to go to some sort of party tonight. you down?" i asked, setting my phone down and grabbing his pepsi from him and taking a sip.
"yeah sure, we should tell nick and matt" he said, standing up and taking the pepsi back from my hand. i nodded and stood up with him. i walked to the living room and chris walked to nicks room.
"hey matt" i said, walking in and standing behind the couch that he was sat at.
"hey eve, what's up?" he asked.
"there's a party tonight at alahnas and me and chris r going, wanna come?" i asked, smiling down at him.
"yeah sure" he said, smiling back and looking back down at his phone.
"alright" i said, walking back into the kitchen. chris was already sat down, so i sat next to him.
"nicks going" he said, looking over at me.
"so is matt" i said, smiling and pulling out my phone.
"wanna go get ready?" he asked, to which i jumped up off the couch excitedly.
"thought you'd never ask" i said, pulling him up by both of his hands and dragging him up the stairs and towards his room. i opened the door and ran towards his closet, which is where i kept my clothes for when i was over. he giggled at how excited i was, and walked over to me to find something to wear.
