after also giving evidence that sirius was not a death eater and that peter pettigrew was the one who betrayed the death eaters and because of that lord black did his duty to his sworn ally, was cleared of all charges it was also brought up to be possible that pettigrew killed those muggles in an attempt at a last bout of vengeance against sirius for his death so sirius's charges were all dropped, and he was freed, he was also rewarded 15,000 galleons for wrongful imprisonment since lady amelia bones told the chamber he was sent to azkaban without a trial, safe to say the former head of magical law enforcement was very quickly reassigned to deal with this blunder and lady amelia bones was promoted to head of magical law enforcement

"sirius we need to talk" narcissa said

"what is it, i need to find my godson" sirius said rather irritably

"he is currently at #12 being watched by dobby the former malfoy house elf, and kreacher, but he is the focus of this discussion, sirius the old magics activated" narcissa said

"oh.......oh, i see, yes this discussion needs to happen, especially with what james has done to lily, i need to also contact severus he should have a hand in raising harry" sirius said james was sirius' best friend and he would do anything for james even guard his deepest secret and he would continue to do so however what james did to lily was unforgivable

"agreed it helps that severus is my sons god father, but we will get to that we will need to contact the retainers from the house of potter and see what we can do about getting them to reswear their oaths, i made a promise that the house of black wouldn't fall, and sirius, that boy is the heir of two of the most ancient and noble houses at least" narcissa said

"indeed we will need to be careful about this" sirius said, he was for a change being very sirius this was his godson's future he nearly failed him once not again

"now we just have one problem, albus dumbledore" narcissa said

"maybe not, narcissa what if we brought dumbledore on board told him everything, having the lord of light on your corner would be a very great boon for us and more importantly for him" sirius said narcissa thought for a moment
