The warm sun shined down upon the small playground. The mulch ground squished as the various kids ran around the playground.

The playground wasn't really big, but it wasn't small either. It had three slides. Monkey bars. A tether ball. Two swings. It was a warm, sunny day in the shoebox town, Caramel Bay.

May Norman was a five year old girl with pig tails for her hairstyle. She was playing in the sandbox. She was wearing a red and yellow striped shirt with blue overalls.

Her mother was on the phone with one of her friends. The two had been talking for about an hour. The talk was mainly gossip about random crap. At this point, May was board and ready to go. For a few moments, it looked like her mother was almost done on the phone, until her friend on the other end started up another conversation. May had told her mother a few time that she was ready to go. "May, I'm on the phone. Just keep playing, we'll leave shortly." Her mother said the few times May told her she was ready to go. May was now the only kid in the park. She was sitting in the swing. Her feet dangled over the sand.

"Psst. May. Over here." A voice called from behind May. May looked behind her and saw someone standing in the woods.

"May. I'm over here." The voice said and May saw the figure.

He was a short and stubby man. Standing at five foot four. He has a black handlebar moustache, tall narrow teeth, and he wore a monocle on his right eye. His face looked like a mask of some kind. It was made of a scruffy, cloth like materiel.

"Hello my dear. Do you wanna go? Wanna see something cool?" He asked her as his mustache twitched. May, being the small minded child that she was, and entranced by this figure, smiled and got off the swing and followed him into the woods.

May followed behind the strange man deep and deeper into the woods. As me in the figure walked deeper into the woods, the forest behind her seemed to close.

"Come on May! There's a new friend waiting for you, and he wants to play a game!" The figure said.

"A game? What kind of game? What if I don't know how to play it?" May asked. The figure laughed.

"It's ok. He'll show you how to play." The figure said as they walked to the bay and a cave.

"He's right in there. You have to go inside." The figure said. The figure said.

"But...aren't you going in too?" May asked the man. He just laughed.

"No no. He just wants to meet you." The figure said. May looked in the cave and slowly walked inside. The echoes of splashing water and dripping water filled her ears and the stinging smell of salt water filled her nose.

May walked deeper into the cave, and began to hear a rattling sound, along with the sound of crunching sand behind her.

"Peek a boo!" A figure jumped out at May. May fell back and looked at the figure before her.

He was a skeleton with glass eyes, which were too big for his sockets. He wore a tophat and cape made from some kinda leather. Most noticeably, his jaw was moving side to side.

"Why do your jaws move like that?" May asked the pirate.

"Awww it's simple sweetie. The better...to grind your skin!" He said. Mays eyes widened as he grabbed her hand and bit into it. All the filled the cave now, what is the sound of screaming and tearing and the Crimson smell blood.
