About The Baby

  Donnie woke up on a roof top in the middle of the day.

"What happened..."

Donnie tasted something similar.

Blood.

Donnie stood up quickly, see that he was still a mutant dragon, but blood was all over his claws and his mouth. Then he looked down on the ground to see cloths, now signs of deaths.

"No!"

NO! I DIDN'T KILL ANYBODY!

'Doesn't the smell of blood make you hungry?'

Donnie sniffed the blood on his hands, then his stomached growled when the smell swormed through his noise.

"Yes."

Then Donnie felt different, he stuck his tongue out, about to lick the blood, but then he felt normal and pulled away.

"No!"

'Fine.'

Then Donnie felt missed place, not in control of his mind, then licked every last drop of blood on his claws and lips.

Once finished, Donnie felt right again.

"That was..."

Good.

'Wait until you hear the news.'

"What news?"

'You, Donnie boy, got April pregnant.'

No.

Donnie amedeatly extended his wings and flew to the skies.

The sun was setting and Donnie was still flying in the skies.

'What's this feeling you feel?'

Fear, you should now.

'Yes, but why?'

If I leave, she'll think I'm leaving her because of that.

'Well if you are looking for her, she is right there in the alley.'

Donnie looked down at an alley way and saw April.

Where is that chain?

'Look in your hand.'

Donnie landed on the building by the alley way April was in and noticed he had something in his hand. It was the chain necklace.

How?

Takashi didn't answer, so Donnie put the chain on and grabbed clothes that were hanging on somebody's clothes hangers.

Donnie then jumped down by April, but she didn't jump, she didn't react at all.

"April."

"Hi Don, or is it him?"

"It's me, Takashi told me about..."

"Thought he would."

April turned around to see Donnie, showing her tears.

"He said you were gone."

"At the time, yes."

"When is he going to come back?"

'When the sky is black.'

"When its pitch black. So about the baby."

"Well I thought it died, until Takashi said that he could hear its heart beat."

"How long has it been?"

"Should you know?"

"I lost track a long time ago."

"Right. It has been two months, almost three."

"I'm sorry I..."

"Left the way you did. Its fine, it would have been safer if you didn't know." April turned her relaxed hands into fists." But you know now, and that makes me think Takashi wants the baby."

"Why?"

"He didn't hit me any where near my stomach like usual." April wrapped her arms around Donnie slowly."And that scars me of what he is planning for."

April cried harder.

'She doesn't understand, no one will understand.'

April back up, so she could get out Donnie's arms.

"And Donnie."

"Yes."

"I'm going to be a mom."

Donnie smiled, which made April smile.

I'm going to be a father.

"What else about the baby."

April wiped her tears.

"She is healthy, nothing bad."

What should her name be?

"Any names."

"Isamu if it's a boy."

That's ironic.

"And if it's a girl, her name will be Shizuka."

Shizuka, peaceful. Beautiful.

"I love those names."

"Well it's about time you know some stuff about the baby."
