I walk alone now

I walk alone now. I stand still in the world. The air had gotten thick, the air was so easy to breathe before, but now it seems so hard! I don't know why.

The dark covers me, I feel its coldness kiss deep in my soul. Why? I try to cry out. I have no voice! I open to scream your name, silence, cold silent.

I feel a tug, it's faint, barely there. Its warmth is just felt, I hear a voice say on the wind follow me, I allow my body to follow the sound. I open my eyes; I see wonders that my mind could only begin to imagine.

I fly so fast. I see a life that isn't mine, though one of the people has my face. I watch her life unfold. I watch her heart bloom open with the hope of true innocence. I smile as her life blooms with such passion and power. I let tears fall as I watched her fall into disrepair. I reach out to her.

I just catch her. I wipe the tears from her face. Leaning close to her ear, I whisper. "Let the tears fall for each tear holds the love of your life, I shall add them to the sea. Then your love will be eternal." I continues to cry. I did as I told her, I waited till the moment of her last breath and cried her last tear.

I walked up to the ocean, mermaids met me at the shore. I gave them her tears. They added one tear each into the ocean. For a short time, nothing happened. Then suddenly the ocean was still, It stayed that way for two moons.

As I slept, I didn't see her tears caught in the net of the universe. Her love in the tears went to the stars. Her power in the tears went to the moon. I woke up to find the sea horses dancing across the sand with joy. They carried shells to make a shrine to her life. I sat quietly watching the celebration of their life.

It went on for a week, as the last shell was placed, the heavens and the earth along with the universe stopped celebrating all at once, then cried one single tear. In that tear held all their hopes and dreams for her life. The stars came to circle her tears. A powerful sorceress descended from the heavens, she carefully picks up her tears, placing them in a box for eternity.

"Within this box, as long as it's kept sealed true unconditional love will always find its true home." She pronounces to all the witnesses. Then sent it out amongst the stars for it to be safe.

I cried a tear that became a diamond of such beauty that it had to be forbidden to remain in the realm of humans. I placed it in the care of the sea dwellers. I wasn't to know long after my ascension to the heavens that a child would find it. Which she did.

She saw its beauty, she feared that it would be tarnished. She traveled a lifetime and a breath of an angel. She found it a home. To this day it shines its beauty upon the world as well it amplifies the lost lovers' love upon the world where today it shines upon us my love, I see its power in your words, I see its power when I look at my bed that you have never laid your head yet I see you laying there smiling at me as I work my magic on paper.

I see it in my dreams where our eyes lock, my breath stops, my heart skips a beat and the world fades as your sweet scent carries me away to where our love is forever eternal.
