"Samir" she grabbed my hand trembling.
"No you can't let her get away with this!" I yelled, she flinched at my tone.
'I'm so sorry' I thought.
"Alyssa, I didn't mean to yell..." she sniffed back the tears.
"Ok"
"Ok"
"This isn't the fault in our stars" she chuckled.
"You read the book?"she Asked.
"What no..." I answered truthfully
"The movie?" I shook my head, I lied.
"Yeah okay..." I grabbed the blanket and wrapped it around her.
"Sit" I said pointing to the couch. she sat down.
"Why you dyed your hair pink?" I blurted out, her eyes became wide.
"I'm so sorry, I never asked." She shook her hand.
"No, no, it's fine, well uh i don't know why, I think it's when my dad died-" she realized what she said and instantly held her breath.
"Wanna watch tv?" I said quickly changing the subject.
"Sure" she said. I sat down next to her turning on the tv: "Speak" was on.
"I love this movie" she said moving closer to me. I wrapped my arms around her and pulled her on my lap.
"Is this okay?" I asked. She nodded.
After twenty minutes she started getting sleepy. she rested her head on my chest and snuggled close to me.
"I like you Samir... you're different" she muttered thinking I didn't hear.
'I like you too Alyssa, I like you too' I thought to myself.
This is perfect, my dream girl, in my house, in my arms.
Next thing I knew she was snoring softly while muttering things in her sleep.
I didn't pay attention to the things she said except one, I payed attention to one thing she said;
"I hope Jason would notice me, now that I'm gonna be with Samir"
My heart instantly broke.
The girl with pink hair never liked me, she just wanted to use me.
