I left for the winter vacation. There was a coffee shop next to the train station.
A girl was singing.
She sung beautifully.
Her voice gave me goosebumps.
"I'm leaving tonight, I'm leaving tonight, I'll be gone in the morning." She sang
I clapped along with a few people in the coffee shop.
"Thank you" she said.
"Thank you to the regular comer Carmen Vales"
Carmen.
Thats a beautiful name.
I went up to her.
"Hi"
"Hi"
"You have a nice voice"
"Are you hitting on me?"
"What?- n-no"
"Oh, okay, thank you." she smiled. I smiled back.
"Hey, green eyes got a name?"
"Samir."
"Samir, I like that name."
"Thanks"
"Here's my number text me sometime"
She handed me a piece of paper with her digits.
She picked up her guitar and left.
My heart was pounding in my chest.
She didn't remind me of you.
She was something better.
What the hell was this feeling?
I don't want to feel it.
