Chapter 2

[A few days later, Thursday evening.]

[Over phone chat]

Doyoung: "You will attend this reunion this Saturday night right?"

Ethan: "Of course. I will be there on time, don't worry."

Doyoung: "Why would you think that I think you will be late, dude? You are the most punctual person I have ever met in my life. I would never meet someone like you again."

Ethan: "Yeah yeah, and you should be too." *laughing emoji*

Doyoung: "*annoyed emoji*"

Ethan: "By the way, do you want me to pick you up at your house so that we can go together?"

Doyoung: "Sure, I'm too lazy to drive there"

Ethan: "Then be sure that you are already ready at the time I pick you up, I don't want to wait for you to get ready again. You always took a very long time to get ready you know."

Doyoung: "I know that I can be a little tardy sometimes but on some occasions like this I won't."

Ethan: "Your sometimes sound like every time for me though." *laughing emoji*

Doyoung: "Alright, this time I promise I won't let you wait for me anymore." *pinky finger emoji*

Ethan: "*wearing sunglasses emoji with good emoji*

Doyoung: "Got to go, see you this Saturday. Bye."

Ethan: "Bye."

Ethan is still sitting in his chair in his office when Doyoung messages him. When he finally turns off his phone, he looks around his office and notices that it feels so quiet like someone is watching him. He feels somewhat odd about it but he brushes it off. He then proceeds to stand up from his chair that he has been sitting in all day and do some weird stretches because his body aches from sitting in his big office chair for a long time.

He looks at the big clock he has in his office that is hung on a wall in front of his desk. There is also a small coffee table under the clock that place a small indoor plant. In his gigantic office, he also had a veranda where he had a big bonsai tree given by his father for his newly founded company at that time as a congratulation.

Ethan clear up his desk which was full of files and important documents scattered all over his desk. It was already late in the evening and most of the workers were already when home. Ethan picks up one of his files from his desk and notices that there is something beneath it. It was a piece of card but the thing is the card only had the letter 'A' on it. His curiosity when up to wonder how, when, why, and who did it. He remembers that he had security cameras all over his office and his company that are connected to his laptop and smartphone.

(Little did he knows that it was already in the plan. )

He arranges his files and documents quickly and puts his laptop and some important files into his bag. He just wanted to go back to his apartment as soon as possible so that he could check on the security cameras. Grabbing his suit that is hung on his chair quickly and he dashes out of his office to his car which is parked in the basement area. When he arrived at the basement using the elevator, he shocks to see his car light was on while it was still locked. He unlocks his car and gets inside. He started his car by just pressing a button and drive to his apartment safely.

Upon arriving at his apartment parking lot, he didn't go up to his apartment right away scared of being watched after what had he found in his office. He opens the bag that is placed on the passenger sitting right beside him, picks up the laptop from the bag, and turns it on. Ethan then opens up the security camera of his office to look for any potential suspect. He when back to the time after he leaves for a meeting with the other shareholder of his company because it was the only time he leave his office that day.
