CHAPTER 4 Hamish's POV:

After history class with the 'Garden Gnome' as Noah put it, I had potions. Noah and Olivia also had potions with me while Mara went off to combat. As the three of us walked down the neverending halls I stood a bit behind the other two. Noah and Olivia were probably as close as two humans can get. I on the other hand wasn't as close, but I still saw them as my siblings. I was a bit closer to Noah though, but not as close as I was to Mara.

When we arrived at potions all three of us sat down in the back. Potions class wasn't the strongest area for any of us, so we preferred not to be called on and answer in front of the entire class. I didn't really care though.

The classroom is rather dark compared to others in the school. The lighting leaves room for people to do a lot of things during class. Some of the things, I never want to see again.

As soon as the noise of talking grew to a louder volume the door slammed open to reveal Mr. Botts. Mr. Botts was an old man who looked far too old to be actually teaching and had a glare that could literally kill you on the spot. It had happened in the beginning of the year to one of the first years. He also had a habit of using the term "In my day..." everytime he caught someone misbehaving. His lessons were dreadfully long and were probably the most boring thing anyone has ever had the misfortune of listening to. They could go on for hours if he was allowed to continue speaking for that long.

"I see you all still have some common sense in your tiny teenager brains to actually listen to a teacher when they're talking." There was a small sigh from the entire class. Almost everyone knew that he was going to launch into one of his speeches.

"Why, in my day..." I stopped listening to him at that point and concentrated on spinning a pencil on my desk. My eyes slowly drifted to my right. Noah and Olivia sat with the same bored faces as almost the entire class. My mind drifted a bit as I waited for him to stop lecturing us. I thought back to the past few years at this school. Noah and Olivia had become instantly close the day they met. I smirked slightly. They would probably be getting together soon. There wasn't really anything to contradict that. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if they got together. I could always just bug them until they did get together. Maybe put a few things in their desks as to why they should get together. That'd make them realise. I blinked and looked to my right with a raised eyebrow when I felt a poke on my shoulder.

"You looked like you just killed the entire world and were happy about it. Plus Dr. McBoringson is done with his lecture." Noah said in a hushed tone. I nodded.

"What exactly were you thinking about?" he asked. I shook my head.

"Nothing much." He shrugged

"Just hope you didn't actually go on a killing spree for the fun of it." Noah returned his attention to the front of the room. I smiled to myself. After the lecture, potions class went on like normal. Well, as normal as it gets around this school.

Sorry about not updating lately. Most of that's my fault considering I maybe might have sorta broken out of rhythm. I did try to write more than usual in this chapter though. It's better late than never right?
