You usually stayed in your room, listening to music or drawing. Mom tried to get you outside or out of your room but you always politely refused.
*caw ca!* you heard a loud croak from your window, you turned to the sudden noise and saw a big coal black raven standing on your windowsill. Surprised you flinched immediately and almost fell, shockingly the bird didn't fly away after you moved but just stood there.
"h-hello?" You said and the bird tilted their head and you understood that they didn't understand you, obviously.
You stood up after sitting on your bed as you held eye contact with the bird. As you went towards it you noticed a few white dots on the birds fur, confused onto why they had it but then convinced yourself it was normal.
You were a few feet away, it was still standing completely unbothered not showing any fear. This was incredibly weird behavior from a bird, especially from a pitch black raven.
You see birds like ravens, specifically the black ones had a bad reputation, people thought they signalized bad luck, similar to the black kittens on Halloween sitch.
The bird flew away, you tried to go a step closer but it seemed to get scared. You ran to the window after the bird flew away and tried to find it in the air.
