THE MARRIAGE

It was early in the morning. The marriage hall was fully decorated with red and pink roses. The Mandapam was all royal and luxurious.

Aadhi was in his room getting ready for the important day in his life. He was wearing a red cotton shirt with matching veshti. His friends accompanied him in his room.

All were having great time chatting and pulling eachothers leg. Aadhi was standing before the mirror, correcting his hair. Then he turned towards his friends.

Aadhi: Machan naa epdi irruken?

Ranjan: Semma handsome ah irruka da.

Arjun: Unnaku enna da. Super ah irruka.

Sid: Pudhu mappillai glow irruku da.

Aadhi: Nandrigal nanbargaleyy. Neenga ellarum dhan super ah irrukinga.

At that time Prathik entered the room and informed that the priest is calling him.
Everyone went down and the priest asked Aadhi to sit in front of the agni.

Then the priest asked him to repeat the mantras that he was saying. He did everything with a wide smile on his face.

Priest: Ponna alachitu vaanga.

Binni ma went and brought Tara to the stage. She made her sit beside Aadhi. Tara was wearing a dark orange silk saree with pink border and her was adorned with flowers. She chose to wear simple jewels.

Aadhi turned his head towards her and smiled at her with a wink. She saw this and blushed.

Tara: [in low voice to Aadhi] Naa paaka epdi irruken?

Aadhi: [husky voice] Dhevadha maari irruka ma.

Tara: Thank you [blushed for his comment]. Neengalum handsome ah irrukinga.

Aadhi: I know. [He smiled at her showing his dimples].

Tara: Ahaan. Seri seri.

The priest asked both of the them to repeat the mantras after him. Both were doing with atmost concentration.

The most awaited moment, the priest gave the mangalasutra to Aadhi and said "Gettimelam Gettimelam".

Aadhi once looked at her eyes and tied the mangalasutra around Tara's neck. He tied the first two knots and the third knot was tied by Moni. Their family, friends and the guests who arrived blessed the couples happily.

Tara teared up out of joy, Aadhi wiped it and kissed her forehead assuring her.

Then the priest asked Aadhi and Tara to come around the agni for 7 times. They did as he said by holding eachother's pinky finger. 

Later the couple got blessing from Krish pa and Binni ma. Moni hugged Aadhi and cried out of happiness. She kissed both their forehead.

Their friends one by one came and wished the couple. They hugged the couple and had a group photo.

And then everyone went and had their breakfast.

THE RECEPTION

The marriage hall was fully decorated with red flowers. Aadhi and Tara were made to sit on the couch which was placed on the middle of the stage.
