I could hear the rain outside as I sat in my throne room. A loud rumble of thunder made a few in the room jump. We were in the middle of the storm now. Lightning flashes lit up the room, the trees swaying outside casting shadows on the walls. Even with the storm outside the mood in the room was light and filled with laughter. Before the storm hit, we had a successful hunt. We were able to gather enough food to last the winter months to feed the kingdom.

There was about 40 people in the room. My throne room was one of my favorite rooms. The room could fit about 100 people in it. Of course, I hated it being that packed, so I always kept it to about 50 at the most. The ceiling was about 100 ft tall, the white walls, were covered in designs made out of gold. The trim, throughout the room, and the doors were also pure gold. My father may have been an asshole, but he had taste. Anyone who entered this room, knew our family meant power.

All around me everyone was celebrating. Drinking, sharing stories, but yet I did not feel like joining in. Something felt wrong, I felt on edge. Maybe my mood had to do with the weather

I look up at my mom's portrait hanging above the fireplace. She was beautiful, in the portrait she is smiling, her dark eyes looking forward and dark hair pulled up with a purple flower in it. She is wearing a white dress, with purple flowers embroiled on the sleeves and belt. Her pale skin flawless, and Rosey cheeks and lips captured perfectly. She has on a gold bracelet and earrings. And has a white fan in one of her hands. She is standing and holding part of her dress up with the other hand as if she is walking. Around her neck is the necklace I have in my pocket. It's a gold necklace, on a crest moon, covered in diamonds, then the bottom on of moon is a red rose, with green leaves.

She has been gone for 15 years, but I still missed her. I will never forget when she got sick and had a hard time breathing. She was so weak, but trying to be strong for me. My father acted like she was an inconvenience. When the doctors argued about how to treat her, my father went with the worse option offered. The one that would kill her. He did not pick the aroma therapy one, or the medication, no he picks brain surgery. I will never forget, the doctor yelling she is making it up, it is all in her head. When my father heard that option, he was excited about it. I think he wanted her gone. He always said she made me week and caring. He needed a warrior, not a tit baby.

I grit my teeth feeling my anger still towards my father. I cried when my mom died, and I also received the worse beating in my live because I cried. My father was a fucking asshole. That man never loved anything but himself. When he became sick 5 years after my mom died, I laughed in his face. Then when he died a few days later, I rejoiced and did not morn him at all.

He abused his people, and his family, he did not deserve to live. I was a good ruler. Or maybe just not as much of an asshole as he was. I tried to push my anger for my father farther down. No need to be angry, he was gone. I just wish my mother could have had a better life. She was married to a monster.

A loud boom of thunder made me snap out of my thoughts. I look to one of the windows, and can see the trees sway in the wind. I look around the room. I see a blond maid with big tits walk by bringing wine to some of my counsel. "I will be fucking her later." I think with a smile. All the women wanted me, and why not I was sexy as hell, great in the sack, and king. One day I would take a bride to be my queen, but I was only 30 I had time.

"Nephew, how was the hunt today." My uncle says. He walks with a chair and sets it next to me. He takes a seat, then takes a drink of his wine. He is the only one I will allow to bring a chair over by me and not call me by my proper name.

He is my advisor; I trust him with my life. He is wearing a blue suit; he always dresses to impress.

I smile thinking about our hunt. There is nothing better than the thrill of the chase. "Good Uncle, I wish you could have joined us." I say. I always enjoy my uncle's company. He is nothing like my asshole of a dad. Of course, uncle Ralph was 15 years younger than my dad was.

"Maybe next time, I think am getting too old to hunt." He says with a smile. My uncle was only 85 years old. That is not old. Being a fay, we live long lives. 85 was nothing.

"Nonsense, you are never too old to hunt." We both laugh and chat for a bit. Someone walks to my uncle and whispers something in his ear.

"I was just informed weapons have gone missing." What, the armory is heavily guarded.

"How can that be?"

Suddenly I hear commotion outside, and the doors fly open. An old lady walks in with my guards standing on each side of her.

"Sorry my lord, she would not leave without talking to you." A guard says.

"Its fine, what can I do for you?"

"My King, please give me shelter from the weather tonight, I am far away from my home."

"Don't nephew" My uncle says quiet enough for no one to hear but me. "This could be a trap." The odds of it being a trap were slim, but I did not want to look weak in front of my uncle.

"Why would I do that?" I say, standing up then I walk down the platform stairs by the old lady. She is petite and maybe in her 80s. Soaked from the weather and cold.

"Because I am just an old woman, needing shelter for one night."

"You could be a spy, or a murderer for all I know"

"I am too old for that." She says on the verge of crying. I did not want her in my site. She was pathetic. I almost felt bad for her, but if I showed her mercy then what will my kingdom say. My mom would have showed her mercy. But I am not my mother. Plus, with the weapons going missing who knows.

"No, you will need to find shelter elsewhere. I think there is a dog house outside you can sleep in." The whole room erupts with laughter.

She stands straighter then smiles. Then she changes from an old ugly lady to a stunning beautiful young woman. She has dark brown skin, and long black hair.

"You are not a king for your people." She smiles, "You only care about yourself." The crowd of people cower away from us.

"Whatever lady. Guards seize her" I shout, I was done with this conversation. I put my hand in my pocket, and hold the neckless again." She waves her hands and my guards go flying. She walks to me. I am shocked at her power.

"A man that has no compassion for those in your kingdom should not be a king." She suddenly starts to glow.

I take a step back.

"What would you be like if you did not have a handsome face" she says walking over to me. Terror shoots through me. What have I done?

Then she flows above everyone, and says with a beaming voice.

"I curse this castle and you. Until someone can love you for you, you will be trapped here." She smiles.

Then my body starts to glow and pain shoots through me. After the pain stops, I laid on the floor. I brought my hand to my face, what claws and red skin. I looked at the lady and she smiled. I stand up and look at myself.

"Try to get someone to fall in love with you now that your heart matches your face." She says laughing. "Not going to be so simple now is it." She smiles. Then fly's down to me. And lands right in front of me. "It needs to be real love, true love, and the person has to say it to your face."

She then flies back up. And says with a booming voice. "Time will stand still here for the people." She says talking to the others in the room.

"You may think that sounds like a paradise, forever young." She laughs "But don't be fooled. Even hell can look like a paradise at first." She flies to the throne and sits down. "Yes, you will not age, but what is the cost of always being young."

"Comfy" she says wiggling her butt in my chair. Then she continues. "Children will never grow, babies will never be born, no outside contact. All contact outside of Greyson will be cut off." She then stands up. She smiled "Well anyways you have all been warned." Then she starts to walk to the door.

"Please, I'm sorry." I say "Please don't do this." She laughed.

"Have a great life." She says then speaks to those in the castle. "Everyone you have one year to leave, then you are stuck here." She then vanishes.
