A month later I am in my old house with my husband packing up my belongings. I smile at him. We decided to keep the house and use it for vacations. We will even let others in the village use it. We set Jackie up with a room in the castle. She was freaked out and confused when she first came to live there. I mean really these places you only hear about in books, so I could not blame her. When she finally let her guard down, and allowed herself to be happy, it showed. She always has a smile on her face.
Turns out she worked in a café, I guess Jeremy had a type. She took over my coffee business and works well with Nora, Terry and Chris. I still help out, but now I take more time off. We also hired another one to help out with the baking part of things. Terry is due any day, so she needs some time off.
It is funny how life works out. One moment you think you hit rock bottom and there is no way to get out of it, then you find fate has a different plan for you. I am so happy I was thrown into this world; without it my life would be so empty. Now I have a family of my own and great friends. How did I get so lucky.
