Then the truth came out he was actually....... doing a dare from his friends. He told me the dare was to pick a girl you believe to be lonely and ugly and lead her on. Then you have to get in all on tape. The worst part was that he did it in front of everyone and in the loudest voice ever. After a moment of silence , everyone started laughing. I tried to ignore it but tears filled my eyes and I ran all the way home crying. I was humiliated. This was worst than what the kids at school do and say to me.
( 1 week later)
I got an unknown text saying sorry about last week.... I was just trying to fit in. ~Adam. I forgot that I gave him my name and number so I responded " It's okay, I know how you feel."
Text messages between Adam and I
Adam: " Would you like to meet somewhere and start over,I swear I won't be the masked guy. So what do you say??"
Me: "Okay sure." You guys might me thinking I am a love thirsty freak but I don't know why but every since I was a kid, I always gave people second chances.
Adam: " Really?? Ok so let's meet at Jefferson's Park around 3:00 p.m tomorrow.
Me: ok see ya later. Bye.
Date time
It's now 3:14 p.m and I am not seeing him. I start to hate my self until I saw a tall guy in a white shirt and black skinny jeans with shiny blue eyes walking towards me. I tried not to blush when he handed me flowers.
Conversation
Me: "So.......what do you want to do??"
Adam: "I though we could sit and watch the ducks then get something to eat. Next we will catch a movie. I mean if that's fine with you??
Me: "yeah sure, sounds fun."
After we finished eating it was already 6:00 p.m.so the only interesting movie showing was " Wedding Ringer." During the movie he placed his hand around my neck. I felt a strange feeling in my stomach , like I was nervous. It was already 8:00 p.m.when the movie was over. We walked back to my house and he leaned in and kissed me but I just said "goodnight." And went inside. I was so tired that I didn't even see my mother sitting watching t.v. I brushed my teeth then fell a sleep. Then at 12:00 p.m he texted me " I had a wonderful time today, you looked great in your black shorts. I wish to see you soon, goodnight beautiful."
