CHAPTER XXXVII: THE PAST PART 1 (FOUND YOU)

Naruto's POV

"Where is Gaara, Shika?"

"He went to the toilet."

"We have to go now, Grandpa told us to meet Uncle Danzo once we got here."

"Just wait. They have a lot of games here. And they also have a horror booth."

"We have to see Gaara first. We're be in trouble once he got into a fight again."

"Let's just wait for him."

"Let's go over there, too many scents here."

"Obviously, it's a school fest."

I just rolled my eyes to Shikamaru.

We went in not crowded place while waiting for Gaara.

"You're okay?"

"Yeah. I take my med before coming here."

"Just few more months and it's our turned to study here. What do you plan?"

"On what?"

"You told last time that Master Hiruzen setting you in a blind date. So? Any plan in high school?"

"I don't know really. I told you, I'll wait for my fated mate."

"But Master Hiruzen is right, Naruto. Try to date someone even once. Sooner or later your rut will come and having a partner will help you."

"And what if while dating someone I found my mate? I'll just hurt someone for my own benefits? Nah. I'm good."

"And we keep telling you that there's only a 1% that you'll meet your fated mate."

"At least it's not zero."

"Haaay, I can't really win over you when it comes to your fated mate."

I grinned on him. We still waiting for Gaara but he's really taking too much time. So we decided to roam around the school.

"We can't go inside the building, Naruto. Outsiders are not allowed to do that."

"Let's just take a look. I won't touch anything."

"Master Hiruzen will really scold me after he knew this."

"Come on, let's go in their computer lab. Do you think they have computer games?"

"And why they will install a computer games in school's computer?"

"Just asking, Sir Shikamaru.", I said then laughed.

Shikamaru really so serious most of the times.

We passed the first building when I smell something nice. I can't tell where it's coming from since I am in open place.

"What?"

"Don't you smell it?"

"Smell what?", Shikamaru smell his self.

"Not you. There's a good smell around this area.", I keep sniffing.

"Maybe some of the students have a booth for perfumes."

"No. It's not like a perfume. It's a pheromones."

"Pheromones? Are you serious?

"Yeah."

I followed the smell until it lead me inside the next building.
