Chapter 2 The first day of torture

I woke up this morning thinking that moving was just a dream and that it never even happened until I looked out my window and saw this crappy town that you could see from a mile away. I don't know what my parents were thinking moving in to this old town; when we could be living our lives in the big apple. I haven't even finished unpacking yet since in a couple more days I would be starting my first day of college, I hope I could find some friends who are just like me but so far everybody that I encounter are all human. I heard my mom call me down for breakfast but I didn't feel like bacon and eggs again I was Urging for the taste of blood so I got dressed and walk downstairs towards the door until I heard my mom say " Riley Sandra Collins where do you think you are going at this time in the morning" I turned around so I could go face my mom " oh you know I just thought maybe I could go explore and find some where to eat instead of having the same old breakfast for the past week" I gave my mom a angry look since she was the one who made me move in the first place, "just be careful, we don't really know this town very well so keep your phone on you at all costs" my mom said worriedly; I whispered ok and walked out the door.
As soon as I got to this forest area I found a deer that I could feed off of and it was the best thing that has happened to me since I moved, It was so great to sink my fangs into something more than just a plastic, debilitated blood bag. After I was done feeding I went down to this place called mystic grill to get a bite to eat so my mom doesn't rip my head off for not eating anything else but blood; pun intended of course. My mom and dad didn't know that I was a vampire but still my mom had those weird mother senses that tells them when their kid hasn't eaten anything, so I gouged down a Ham and cheese sandwich before heading off to the library to have the journey of a life time learning about the history of mystic falls. I was walking around mystic falls like I was some lost puppy dog and that I have been walking out here for ages but no I just couldn't seem to find the stupid library, so I came near this little park and saw a girl who was about my age and went up to her "hi I'm Riley Collins and I'm new here, I was wondering if you could help me find the library" I said to the brown haired, blue eyed girl who was sitting on a bench reading some kind of spell book. "oh that explains why I have never seen you around here, my names Bonnie; Bonnie Bennett and the library is on your left and is behind the mayors home" the girl said while smiling to me, I was staring at the book that she was reading and just blurted out " you're a witch aren't you?" she gave me a horrifying look. I was biting back my tongue so I wouldn't say anything else stupid to Bonnie, I turned around so this Bonnie chick wouldn't see my cheeks that were as red as a tomato and was about to leave before Bonnie yelled out "how did you know what I was" I turned back around to sit be side her and took a deep breath " I know who you are because I have had friends just like you before I Moved here and plus I recognize the spell book that you were reading." I sighed, she smiled back at me and grabbed my hand before I left and then I saw it in her face expression, she had one of those weird vibes where something bad was happening and then she stuttered " it was nice meeting you Riley" just when she finished that sentence I knew from the look in her eyes she knew who I was; she knew I was a vampire!
