The new beginning

So since I had good business sense and all I decided to start a company. W/ me just moving and not really knowing where I was and not having any way to find out that didn't involve me talking to people. I just found a cheap run down apartment. I bought a phone and computer. Found out where I was and started to work. To my surprise I was able to get my newly found company up and running w/ in 3 weeks. I already accumulated quite a bit of wealth. I bought the apartment complex I was staying in and upgraded it. The office guy was nice and helped me a lot so I kept him on and boosted his pay. I told him I bought the building and he was stunned to say the least. I managed to convince him to act like my father. Turns out he always wanted a family. But his mom abused him and his dad was a drunk. His mom ended up raping him a couple of times his dad saw one time when he was sober. Instead of helping him his dad raped him w/ his mom. I apologized to him. His name is Henry by the way. Also I'm Jade. I don't if I introduced myself or not so here you go. But I told Henry what was happening w/ me and the ones who shall not be named. He looked at me stunned. But yeah so that's how the weeks after getting my company running went. Also I was homeschooled and Henry did agree and I call him papa.

"JADE! COME DOWN WE NEED TO TALK!" Henry yells. I raced down. Now he never really called me by my name unless it was something majorly serious.

"What's wrong!?" I ask panicked. As I pant to catch my breath he had an unknown look on his face.

"Well your old family has been putting up more like everything! And your parents look like they're endanger. As if they don't find you they die!" He says.

"What old family? And your my only parent." I say.

"Hahaha! I should've known! But seriously I thought you were gonna go to public school? Wouldn't this be problematic?" He asks.

"We I can just hide my face. And seriously I can go unnoticed if I tried. Shoot even if I don't try I can still accomplish that!" I laugh. Eventually he joins me.

"If you say so kid! But stay safe ok my little mocking J!" He says ruffling my hair. We laugh then just spend time together. We ordered a pizza and watched hulu. That's how we bond and it's nice. After about like 3 hours we went to bed. To my misfortune and papa's dismay the morning came to fast.

"Now before you even start. I had everything packed 2 days ago. But do you have everything you need?" I ask. Papa looked at like hey I'm the parent here! But he double checks then nods. "Lunch?" I ask. He looks and finds nothing. I laugh and hold up an extra lunch.

"How do you do it kid?" He says shaking his head.

"When I went camping w/ the foreigners I was the one who made sure we had everything." I say.

"Well lucky me. Now I know who to ask for our camping supply list!" He laughs I giggle at him and we say our goodbyes. I took the school bus. Luckily no one noticed me. We got there I got my schedule from the principle and left. I stayed out of sight and mind for 5 months. That was until something happened.

"Hey!" A loud voice bellows. I turn the corner to see a group of like 5 girls. They all surrounded a small guy.

"Hey! Are you deaf?! Did you get the assignment done or not!?" A different voice says. The owner was about to hit the poor guy but I got there in time and caught her fist.

"Hey are you ok? Can you stand?" I ask. Everyone around looks baffled.

"Listen you must be new but-" I interrupted who ever was talking.

"I've been here for 5 months." I say. Now everyone seems even more shocked. I let go of her fist and helped the kid up. "Let's get you to the nurse." I say and I help him walk.
