Phil decided to move us back up to our seats whilst Dream went to the bushes quickly to pee, (he's a lil' piss baby)
and Tommy joined us down the back since Ranboo fell asleep AGAIN, even though we all awoke two hours ago.
I was curled up, staring out the window as Tommy and Wilbur had conversations, and they slowly got more chaotic as we drove on. Wilbur turned his hand sharply and managed to smack me in the face. "Awww, Wil", I groaned, rubbing my eye. "Sorry Y/N", he replied, "are you okay??" "yes, didn't hurt that much".

"Guys, we're here at the next stop", Phil called out, parking at another lake, since we didn't spend much time at the first one. This time there were people there, a group of men about my age. We all got changed, before heading down to the water. This time Phil did get in, and swam with Tom and Wil. George and Dream went off, then Ranboo joined Phil, Tommy and Wilbur. I looked around, but couldn't really decide which group i wanted to go til so i sat down on the deck, and let my feet rest in the water.

Out of the corner of my eye, i saw the group of men point at me and whisper. I frowned slightly, not sure what was happening, but then one of them approached me. "Hello, i'm Jared!!", he smiled, sitting down next to me. "Hi Jared, i'm Y/N", i smiled back, turning to face him more.

"What brings you here??", he asked, and i said "oh, i'm currently on a roadtrip with my friends over there, what about you??" "I live around here, i moved from the USA a few months ago", he replied, before questioning "Which one of these is your car??"

I went silent, before thinking. "okay, there's a few ways i could do this. He either is just an interested person, and that's fine, or he could be creepy. I don't know him, so i'm not taking that chance. So that's means i have to lie. I'll pick a car that looks like it can fit lots of people". "Uhhh, that one over there", i spoke, pointing to a car a few cars down from ours. "Oh, cool", he grinned, before mouthing something to his friends, and continuing conversation with me.

(Wilbur pov)

I looked over from where i was in the water, and i saw a man from the other group holding steady conversation with Y/N. I badly wanted to go over there and interrupt, but i stayed with Phil. Until i looked over roughly 10 minutes later whilst Tommy was attacking Phil with 'water vlog gun' he called it, and they were laughing with each other.
"fuck it", i muttered, before swimming over to them.

Y/N looked down and saw me in the water "Oh! Hi, Wil", she smiled, and Jared scowled. "Who's this, then??", Jared spoke, staring at me. "This is Wilbur, a really good friend of mine", Y/N replied, lying down on her stomach to poke her head over the Jetty's edge. "yup, just friends", my brain suddenly spoke. 'woah, where'd that come from brain. We are going to talk about that later". "I could ask the same", i fake smiled. "Y/N, who's this??"
"This is Jared, i just met him from the group of boys over there", she replied, nodding her head in their direction.

"Jared. What a shit name". "Oh, okay". I grabbed a small handful of water, and flicked it at Y/N "hey!! Wil!!", she laughed, and i grabbed either side the Jetty beside her. "You should come into the water", i whined, and she smiled, before replying "Fiiiiinnne", dragging out the 'i'. "Jared, you want to come??"., Y/N asked. He scowled at me, and said no, before leaving back to his group.

I felt like i just accomplished something, and i smiled at Y/N. "C'mon, jump in", i spoke, pulling myself up so i was face to face with her. "no, i don't want to jump", she spoke stubbornly, and i rolled my eyes, before moving away from her and climbing up the rusty ladder, before scooping her up off of the ground. "Wilbur Soot, put me down right now", she warned, but i stepped closer to the edge, smiling cheekily.

(Jared pov)

I glared at Wilbur as he picked Y/N up, and leant closer to her. That should be me doing that, not him. I wanted to take Y/N off him and run off, but i can't.

(Y/N pov)

i clung to Wilbur's shoulders as he jokingly took one foot of the edge. "Wil, hurry up please, i want to get it over with", i grumbled. "..no" "what" "i claim this body".
I booped him on the nose, causing him to be confused, and i leapt out of his arms into the lake. he shouted something, but it was cut off as i splashed into the water, the coldness enveloping me.

I heard a splash next to me, and suddenly Wil grabbed me, using one hand to hold onto the Jetty. "Wil let me goooo", i spoke, wriggling. "No, i like holding you", he answered with a straight face, and i had a mini-heart attack. "Kidding! Kidding!", he laughed as i stammered a response. "kinda wanted that to be real", i thought.

(wilbur pov)

"kidding! kidding!", i laughed, even though i wasn't really. Then i suddenly heard a huge splash, and water showered Y/N and i. Somehow in that process Jared got a hold of Y/N, and was holding onto her waist. "Oh, hi Jared, i thought you weren't coming in", Y/N spoke, and he glared at me, before saying "Nah, i changed my mind, now let's go over there", he replied, smirking at me before swimming off with Y/N. She turned around and beckoned for me to come, but i shook my head and climbed back up onto the Jetty, watching Y/N and Jared.

They went to a shallower part of the lake where they could sit, and Jared placed Y/N there, but kept a hand on her leg, which i didn't like, and i don't think Y/N looked very comfortable with it. Soon after, Jared was going closer and closer to her, and she sent a panicked glance towards me, before subtly beckoning me over.

I immediately dived into the water, and swam over, not liking how uncomfortable Y/N was. "Y/N, i think we should be heading off now", I fake smiled, and Jared whipped around, and sent me a death glare. "Okay, nice meeting you Jared!!", she smiled, and he quickly went "Wait, let me give you my phone number!!", and gave her a slip of paper he kept in his pocket for some reason (water-proof pocket).

"Oh, okay!! Bye!!", Y/N replied, taking it, and Hared went to kiss her on the cheek. I immediately swooped in and grabbed Y/N, not liking this feeling of jealousy, and wanting Jared away. I led Y/N across the lake, the slip of paper held above her head. I wanted to grab and and chuck it into the water, but i couldn't.

Y/N suddenly laughed out loud, and smiled at her screen, and i saw it was a text from Jared. This has been going on for the rest of the day, her and Jared constantly texting each other. I scowled and turned away so i didn't have to see. I hate this man so much. After a few more hours, Dream and Phil swapped seats so he could have a break whilst we found somewhere legal to stop. Y/N was still texting Jared, and jealousy was burning like a pit in my stomach.

I wanted to act on this, so i started poking Y/N. She turned to me, and i waved at her. She smiled and waved back, before turning back to her phone. I immediately started poking her again, and she turned to me, and we waved again, before turning back to her screen. I poked her more, and she turned around faster then last time, with a "yeah, what is it??" face on. I tentatively waved, and she waved back unenthusiastically, before turning back to her phone, and giggled at a text.

I decided to poke her once more, but she'd already had enough, but i still didn't expect what she did next.
