"Is it really over?"
《《《 Monster 》》》
"No. We can still fix this. Sure, we lost the battle, but we haven't lost the war yet." You leapt off the ground and dusted yourself off.
"They're gone. They are now in the Underworld, where no mortal can cross. What could a bunch of teens do?"
"Find another way."
"What?"
"Ninja never quit. That was one of the first rules Wu taught us. There is still a chance for us to stop Garmadon from uniting the Golden Weapons." Jay gulped hard. "Plus, we have Sensei. He's an old man who has lived for—I'm not sure how many years. I'm sure he knows how to get there. All we have to do is find him."
"What if he doesn't know?"
"We'll search the temple for anything. If we reach a dead end, we'll read scrolls at the temple, or search the local historical library.
Cole looked at you and said, "Huh? You're that stubborn. You really are something."
"Thank you. Now, c'mon, let's go back to the camp and search the Fire Temple for Wu and Kai." You run off.
Cole looks at the other two for anything. "Are you guys going to say something?"
Jay looked at him with a deadpan expression.
"I agree with (Y/n). There's still time to figure out a plan to reach the Underworld." With that, Zane leaves after you.
Cole was speechless. "Is it even possible for mortals to enter the Underworld!?" All he got was a knowing look from Jay. He tsk. "I think I prefer your bickering than your expressions; it makes it all weird and stuff." He felt chills run down his spine. He then leaves the Blue Ninja in the dust.
There, Jay's heart was struck down. He pouted and ran after his team.
The Ninja arrived at the entrance of the Fire Temple in search of their missing comrades.
"Kai! Sensei!"
The group continued up the stone steps as they called out for them. Cole and Jay push open the gates, and they see only destruction. There seemed to be a struggle as shelves and chests surrounding the lava pit were knocked down. The red banners that hang above entrances were ripped. The bridge that connected to the location of the Sword of Fire had been sunk.
Zane envisions what occurred during the time they were separated. "The Sword of Fire was here, as well our friends, but I only sense loss. We are too late. The Elemental Weapons have left this realm and are now in the Underworld. The end is drawing near," he says, frowning and lowering his head.
You didn't like that answer. You travel over to a pile of books and begin searching through titles that have any relation to the Underworld.
Cole groaned and took a seat on a stool. "Peachy. Just peachy."
Kai's voice suddenly echoes through the temple. "We might not be able to cross over..." The temple door opens to reveal Kai and a girl—who you could assume was Nya—mounting the Fire Dragon. "...but a dragon can."
Cole shrieks. He immediately finds shelter behind a pillar. On the other hand, you and others stare in awe at the majestic beast, holding its head high with a puffed chest.
You gasp dramatically and drop the book in your hand. You zoom straight up, abandoning the pile of thousand-year-old books. You grin from ear to ear, shaking your arms excitedly. "No way! You're riding a dragon!?"
