"Long before time had a name, the First Spinjitzu Master created Ninjago using elemental weapons. But when he passed, a dark presence sought out to collect them all—Lord Garmadon. So I, Sensei Wu, his brother, sought out to find five Ninja to collect them first."

It is a bright and beautiful day in Ninjago. A perfect day to be training

Unfortunately, you didn't take advantage of it. Instead, you were busy procrastinating on said training. But what you did to not let your 'free time' go to waste was by listening to your playlist through your [headphones/earphones] as you wandered the halls of the monastery to stretch your legs after lounging around in your room. You twirl your chain from your Kusarigama as you nod your head to the beat. You began to slightly dance as you pictured yourself in a scenario based on the music that was playing. When you came to a halt in front of the front door, you stopped twirling the chain.

Staring at the door, you chew the inside of your lip. You fiddle with your hand, debating whether to train or relax. You get annoyed with yourself when you can't decide. You sigh in defeat and continue on your way. The music is providing comfort for your failed decision.

You pass by rooms. During your walk, you passed the lounge. Faint video game background noise and chatter are heard through the music. Being intrigued, you carefully open the shōji doors and peek into the room. From the crack, Dragons vs. Ninja is being played on the TV, the guys are invested as they are in the gamer zone, and weapons and pizza are spread out on the floor. You grimaced. Unhygienic, man.

You slip into the room undetected. You stare at the group, disappointed. Even though they're playing a game, they should at least be aware of their surroundings. They're ninja, for heaven's sake! But you shrug it off—at least you found something that'll cure your boredom. You took a seat at the side of the entrance. You get comfortable before resting against the wall. You observe their avatars as they attack the fire dragon boss. Gradually, they start to get louder.

"Fire strike! Oh my gosh, is that the greatest move you've ever seen?"

"Stop trying to do it yourself. We need to attack as a team."

"Zane, why are you wasting your special attack on me? You have to save it."

You flinched when the doors were harshly opened. Only your breath gets caught in your throat as you turn your head to see who opened it. You feel yourself tensing up as you stare wide-eyed at the figure at the entrance. You press yourself against the wall, hoping he won't notice you and that the wall will immediately swallow you up. To your demise, you abruptly made eye contact with Wu. The corner of your lip twitches upward into an awkward smile. He narrowed his eyes at you. You sweat bullets from the intensity of his stare. I should've trained.

He looked over at the rest of his students. They were so engrossed in their game that they didn't realize Wu was in the room. He hid his face behind his hat. Underneath, you know he's pissed.

"Fantastic! I'm out of lives!"

"But the lesson lives on, and I am getting the hang of it. Hee-yah!"

"Okay. Now!"

In a blink of an eye, Wu was in front of the outlet the TV is connected to. He unplugs the connection.

Groans and complaints erupt from the ninja. You quickly put away your music devices, knowing what's going to happen next.

"Aw, man!"

"What? What happened?!"

"It took us three hours to get there."
