The bell rang. Lunchtime! Finally! I was prepared to die from hunger.
I walked out the room and followed the scent of fresh food. Once I was in the cafeteria, I pushed some of the kids out the way not caring if I was supposed to be a "teacher". I got my lunch which consist of a ham sandwich, Doritos chips and a bottle of water; I looked around looking to see if I could sit with anyone. I spotted Francine sitting at a table with other teachers and I walked up to them seeing as there was one sit left. When I got close, she spotted me and put her bag on the empty seat giving me a smug look. I glared at her and went to seat on an empty table at the back.
I was unpacking my lunch when three girls walked up to the table.
"This is our table." The black haired one said.
I sighed out of frustration, I don't have time for this; I'm just trying to eat my lunch.
"Well," I started, "There's five more seats at this table so I don't know what the problem is."
"I like you." The red haired girl sat on the seat opposite me and soon her friends followed with the black haired seating next to the red haired and the blond one sat next to me.
"I'm Britney," The blond haired one said. "This is Demi." She pointed to the black haired girl. "And that's Chloe." The red haired girl smiles as Britney said her name.
"Are you a new student at our school?" Chloe asked.
I shook my head. "I'm actually the new counselor."
All the girls look surprise. "That's cool." Demi said.
"You don't look like a teacher." Chloe raise an eyebrow.
"I look young for my age." I shrugged.
And then something hit me, why are these girls in an all-boys school?
"This is an all-boys school, why are you girls here?" I asked.
"We go to the public school near here and one of the lunch ladies set the cafeteria on fire. Now we have to eat lunch here until they rebuild our cafeteria." Britney explained.
I nodded, noticing for the first time that they had regular clothes on instead of uniforms.
Lunch passed by quickly sitting with the girls who were actually a cool pack.
By the end of lunch, I learned to like them all even if they are totally different.
Chloe was a feisty red. She spoke her mind. Britney was talkative, knowing all the juicy rumors. And Demi was the shy one, only speak when she's spoken to but she's funny.
The bell rang, signaling the end of lunch and we all through our lunch away.
"Are you guys going back to your school?" I asked them.
They all nodded and Britney and Demi walked away while Chloe looked at this hot guy with brown hair and hazel eyes. The guy passed us, glaring at Chloe and Chloe looked down at her shoes looking like she was about to cry.
"Are you okay Chloe?" I asked, concern for my new friend. She shook her head. "What's wrong?"
"Can we go talk somewhere?"
"Of course." I dragged her to my office and closed the door behind me. She sat down at one of the chairs and I went to sit at my desk.
"What's up?" I asked her.
"Well Demi and Brit toke me to a party on Saturday night because me and Taylor got into a fight and I got drunk out of anger and I don't know what happen but the next day I woke up naked next to a guy that wasn't Taylor."
"Who did you wake up next to?"
She took in a deep breath, a tear sliding down her cheek. "Caleb."
