"Hey, Andrew!" I walked in front of him, heading towards Nick's room. "Hi, Karl! Nice to see you again!" He smiled and I smiled back. "Happy to be here again!" I said and then knocked on Nick's door. "Come in!" He shouted and I walked in. "Hey!" I said and throw myself on Nick's bed. He turned his chair to look at me. He laughed. "Exhausted?" He asked taking his headphones off. "Exhausted", I agreed and nodded my head. "Haha, wanna watch a movie?" Nick asked turning his computer off and straightening his legs." I don't think I'm able to focus on anything right now", I muttered and rubbed my eyes. "But if you want to you can watch", I added and yawned. "Well is there something you'd like to do?" Nick asked and sat at the end of his bed. "I don't know", I said yawning again. "Do you have everything for your birthday party?" I asked. "Yeah, I just need to bake a cake", Nick told and I sat up quickly. "I love baking!" I said and Nick laughed at my sudden energy. "Okay, do you wanna bake then?" He said smiling. I nodded my head and we moved to the kitchen.

"What are you going to cook?" Andrew looked at us starting to bake. "We're doing a cake for tomorrow", Nick told and his dad smiled, then nodded his head. "Okay, when is your party starting?" Andrew asked and Nick told him that his friends are coming between 6 and 9 pm. "Okay, I'm at work from 10 to 6, then if it's okay I'll visit home, change clothes and leave", he smiled at Nick. "Of course it's okay, you could stay at the party and it would be okay with me", Nick smiled back. "All my friends are the biggest fans of yours", we all laughed. I started melting chocolate when Nick started mixing all the dry ingredients. "Here is the chocolate", I said and Nick took the bowl from my hand. "Thank you, Karl!" Nick smiled at me and mixed the chocolate in the dough. It was looking really good. "Looking good!" Andrew said when he came to fill his water bottle. "Yeah, taste!" Nick took a spoonful of the dough and gave it to his dad. "Wow, it tastes really good!" He said and both of us smiled. "Thanks!" Nick said and then started pouring the dough into a cake tin. "Is the oven ready?" Nick asked and I checked the temperature. "Yeah, it's ready!" I told him and Nick smiled. He opened the oven and put the cake in. Then he put 40 minutes in the timer. "Now we just wait!" Nick said and I nodded. "Would you like to watch a movie?" Nick asked and I happily agreed with that.
