Set in motion.
"DO YOU HAVE A PLAN IN MIND?"
Venti inquired, sitting beside you on the bench with his elbows resting on his knees which were inches apart. His hands intertwined. Venti seemed a bit lost too as you are right now.
You gently bit your lip before letting it go, "I actually stopped dreaming about you when I first met you."
He finally glanced at you, "Hm, is it because you met me already? Well to be honest dear (Y/n), I'm quite flattered about you dreaming of m--"
"Oh shut up, you know what I meant."
He giggled. Venti stayed in the same position while his cerulean eyes occasionally trailed couples who walked passed by you two. It was as if he was trying to formulate a scene from what he can observe.
Until he did.
"Ahah!" He exclaimed, sitting up straight, "I have an idea, however, the main question would be: where do you think can we do this scene?"
You tilted your head to him, "What scene?"
"The ballroom dance scene!"
You deadpanned, shaking your head, "That's a bit cliche don't you think?"
You looked down at your hands, "I- I don't have any ideas, and yet... yet they're really looking forward to the next one."
You felt him stand up from his seat yet did not see where he went since your eyes were too focused on your hands intertwined on top of your thigh. However, you heard a chuckle just in front of you and you sharply pointed the direction of your eyes to where the voice came from.
Your agitated eyes met his calm and reassuring ones. Venti. He knelt with one knee in front of you and gave you a grin that might have been his brightest one yet.
"Come now, (y/n)! We never know unless we try!"
It seems as if he was looking more thrilled with this idea than you were and you gave in. Who knows, maybe it'll be greater than what you had actually imagined it to be.
"Alright," You finally agreed, Venti smiled, "But where can we do this... Scene of yours?"
"Good question. The thing is, it's up to you to decide," he winked.
You slightly frowned for having no idea yet but decided not to oppose. Venti did give the first idea at hand and you wouldn't want to look like someone who needed to rely on him at all times, especially for someone who created the book itself. Author's block, that's all. You were glad to have Venti's romantic imaginations-- despite his endless teasing-- as your aid.
"We need it somewhere... symbolic."
Venti sent you a questioning look. You didn't send a reply to it but rather continued on with skimming the area that can possibly be the site for that scene.
