The Day When We Realize It is Love

I'm Hungry

It's already midnight. Kevin start to feel hungry. He go to the kitchen after make sure his family already sleep. When he already in the kitchen, he trying to find some food that maybe left for him. He is sure his mom isn't let him starving. However, there are no food in the kitchen. Even snacks are not there. He get angry. Now his mom really punish him not to get any food. If Ariana isn't there, his mom will not like this.

When he looking for something to eat, a long hair with long white dress creature suddenly appear. He see it from his side view. That creature calling his name in a soft voice. He really scared to looking at it. He close his eyes and praying but that creature are not leaving. He can feel that thing touch his shoulder make him want to shouting in fear. But suddenly he realise, that not a ghost. It is a real human. What a relief.

"Why are you not answering me? I called you so many time," yes, it is Ariana with his long white dress and long hair.

"Why you here? Are you trying to scary me so that you could make a fun of me?" Scold Kevin to Ariana in a lower voice.

"No I'm not. I'm here to give you some food. Mummy told the maid not to giving food to you, so I bring instant noodle and some snacks for you because I know you will hungry after not eating anything," told Ariana. Kevin feel a little bit touch but he don't want to express it.

"It's your fault. If you're not entering this family, mummy will not being like this," Kevin blow up his anger to Ariana.

"I know that. I'm so sorry for being adopted to this family and giving too much problems to you," Ariana apologise. Kevin smile after hearing that but it doesn't mean he already accepts Ariana as his little sister.

"You should know your position," Kevin remind Ariana. Ariana nod.

"You better cook that instant noodle for me. I'm hungry right now. Make sure you clear everything. If mummy find out someone eating instant noodle in this house, she will really really mad. You know that right? Instant noodle is prohibited from this house," Ariana nod her head and start to cook the instant noodle for Kevin. She bring that from orphanage. It is a relief that she bring it. If not, she will feel guilty for knowing Kevin will get starving.

"Done," she serve the noodle to Kevin. Even though she is only 12, she know to doing house work as she learn it from orphanage that she live before.

"It is the first time I eat this and I really like it. Thank you," Kevin thanked Ariana. Now he full with the noodle and snacks Ariana bring for him. Actually Ariana is a good person, he agree with that. But, he only jealous and afraid that Ariana might get all of his parent loves.

"Let clean this place. Mummy will angry if she find out what happen here. Don't ever told mummy and daddy what happen tonight, okay?" They clean up everything before going to bed. Kevin always remind Ariana not to tell everyone what had happen that night. It seems like they are doing a crime together.

The next morning, Mdm Sherry prepare a lot of Kevin's favourite food. She feel guilty after letting her son starving yesterday. She go to Ariana's bedroom to wake her before going to Kevin's room which is next to Ariana's bedroom.

"You already wake up," she a little bit surprised as Ariana already wake up. Then, she going to her son room.

"Kevin, wake up. Mummy already make your favourite cookies fro breakfast," she knock her son's bedroom door. She going to kitchen back after hearing her son answer her. She really afraid if her son pass out after starving for half of the day yesterday.

"Good morning Kevin, good morning Ariana," greet Sir Adrian when he see Kevin and Ariana heading to kitchen.

"Good morning, daddy," they both answer. Sir Adrian smile. He could see Kevin and Ariana relationship getting better than yesterday. If not, they will not walking together to the kitchen that morning.
