Chapter 6: A Promise

This Chapter will be mainly backstory and of course will have a lemon between Y/n and Alice. This chapter will be longer than usual because I have a LOT to write so LET'S GET INTO IT!

Alice POV

   I walked into the room Y/n ran into and saw him huddled in a corner crying. I walk over and sit next to him. "Hey, Y/n?" I ask "What..." He replied quietly. "What's wrong?" I ask him. "I hate this fucking world! Everyone wants me to use my blood to save the planet but what about me? I'm not getting to voice my opinion, I-I don't want to save a world full of people who don't care about me..." He says crying.

  
   "They'll forget all about everything afterwards and eventually kill each other off to extinction... Just like us humans did which started this fucking apocalypse.." He continued. "Y/n, I understand what you mean... Before this whole thing started I was used by everyone for their own reasons. It made me hate the world and everyone in it... But then this shithole started, and I was ready to give up during the first week. But then I found Jade and Derek. They helped me and look where I've gotten, I met you and felt a reason to continue living..." I say and hug Y/n laying his head on my chest.

   "Alice, I don't know what to do anymore... I'm at a loss and I can't see a way for anyone to survive even if I save the population." Y/n whispered between quiet sobs. "What if we escape the apocalypse? Leave the rest of the world behind, they didn't do anything for us and honestly I don't see any fate better than this for them." I asked waiting for Y/n to object the idea, "Sure, but with Jade, Derek, Violet, Amber, and Luna right?" He asks me.

   "Of course, I'd never leave them behind for anything." I replied and Y/n sits across from me. "Alice, thank you for talking to me... I didn't exactly have anyone to talk to before..." He says looking down. "How come?" I ask sympathetically and generally curious. "Don't tell anyone about this... But I was orphaned when I was 3... I learned to defend myself because of where I was living. I managed to join the military and then learned about a deadly bio-weapon that turned people into zombies, that's when I was assigned to Derek's Spec Ops team. We worked together for maybe a year before shit went south and you know what happened afterwards... The apocalypse started and I was on my own again, I met this group of furries that used me as you already know, and then I escaped them and lived on my own till I met you that one day. Now here I am, fighting to protect you guys and hoping this shithole can hurry up and end the planet." Y/n says crying profusely, I then grab and hug him tightly, "Y/n... I'm so sorry you had to go through that... I don't know exactly how that feels but I know what it feels to be lost and confused... And remember that im here for you okay?" I tell him while rubbing his back and neck calming him down.

"Thank you Alice, I needed that..." I said as I wrap my arms around her gently melting into the hug. "Im always here for you Y/n, don't forget that." Alice reminds me.

We stay like this for maybe an hour, two? It was hard to tell but my only concern was staying with Y/n to make him know that he was safe. "Alice?" He asks, "Yes, Y/n?" I replied. "Please don't ever leave me..." Y/n said quietly with a shaky voice. "I will never leave you Y/n, I promise.." I whisper into hid ear as he falls asleep on me. "I love you too much to ever think about leaving you." I said pulling him down to lay with me.

"I love you, Y/n"

"I love you too, Alice"

And with that we fell asleep together.

After about another hour or 2 Jade came in and woke me up, which I'll admit annoyed me. "Jade...? What do you want im busy!" I whisper-yelled at Jade. "The computer Y/n wanted me to fix, it was a control console for a fucking portal to some other planet! Strangely enough the planet is fully inhabited by furs" Jade says as she drags me out of the room. "So we can escape this damn place?!" I yelled in excitement thinking Y/n will be able to finally relax.
