Two weeks after the adventure, all the Goonies had unpacked and were settling back into their houses.

"Hey honey, I'm gonna go to the store do you want to come with?" Tara's mom asked, popping her head into Tara's room.

"No, it's okay. I'm going to Mikey's house."

"Okay honey."

Tara got on her bike and made the memorable trip to Mikey's house.

"Hey T!" Andi smiled as Tara walked into the house.

"Hey Andi." The girls hugged.

"Mikey!" Tara called out through the house and a set of pounding footsteps sounded.

"Hey Tara." Mikey greeted and hugged his girlfriend.

Soon, everyone turned up, the Goonies were all hanging out. Mikey and Tara were reading comics together, Mouth and Stef were arguing about the best Cyndi Lauper song, Brand and Andi were watching TV and finally Chunk and Data were cracking jokes with each other.

Mr and Mrs Walsh were making lunch for everyone and smiled at the group's interactions.

They were going nowhere and they had each other.

The sound of something hitting the porch caught everyone's attention. Brand left to go get what it was, he came back with a newspaper.

"Guys look, we're on the front page." Brand showed everyone the paper, Tara snatches it from him.

"Man they could've put a better photo of me on there." She groaned shaking her head. "Read it T." Andi urged.

"Eight teenagers who call themselves 'The Goonies' found hidden treasure that was believed to be a fable, simultaneously catching local criminals in the process.

The youngsters found the map a the attic of the Walsh residence and decided to follow it in hopes of getting the treasure to save their homes. Their homes had been planned for foreclosure and a country club to be built in their places by local business man Mr Perkins.

Speaking to Brandon Walsh, the oldest of the group, he said: 'I first thought Mikey was crazy, as did the rest of the group except Tara, they both really believed this would be our one shot to stay where we are. The adventure was dangerous but also a learning curve for all of us.'
