(next day) Simons POV:

Me and Sara walked to class in silence, not saying anything. I realised she kept making our footsteps in sync, I dont know why, but shes done that ever since we were little.

We opened Mr. Englunds door, and Sara went to sit next Felice straight away, which meant the only seat left was next to Wilhelm. fuck. I looked at him, and he was fiddling with the sleeve of his jumper. I sighed, and walked towards him, sitting down beside him, and he stared at me. "Hi." He said, but I ignored him. I dont know why, I guess I was just scared.

He looked back at his notebook, and went doodling again. There was a lot of detail, but I couldnt really make out what it was.

I guess I spaced out, because I felt a tap on my shoulder when Mr. Englund walked in. I stood up quickly.

"Good Morning Mr. Englund." All of the students said in sync, and sat back down. "Good morning." He replied, looking at papers on his desk. "Today, we have a test." He announced, and everyone groaned. He began giving out paper sheets to everyone, and eventually gave one to both, me and Wilhelm.

Mr. Englund walked back to the top of the class, and sat down in his chair. "You may start."

"...Can I borrow a pencil?" Wilhelm asked, and I hesitated. "Sure." I said, handing him a small metal box of mechanical pencils. He nodded, and I started on my test, and I saw him struggling to open it. "Can you open it, please?" I slightly smiled, and opened it for him, and gave it back. "Thank you."

I finished my test, and handed it up to Mr. Englund, and saw a note on my table;

Simon
talk after class in the bathroom please?
-Wilhelm

I was confused on why he wrote a note, probably because Mr. Englund doesnt like talking during tests, or talking in general. I looked at him, and nodded, knowing I would probably run away again, like I did every other time.

The bell rang, and everyone stood up very quickly, and I noticed Wilhelm put his hands over his ears, probably because of the sound of screeching chairs and shouting.

I didnt notice he was gone until I was the only one left in the classroom. I stood up, and made my way to the bathroom, nervous of what was gonna happen.
