SEASON 1 EPISODE 4

Drew sat at her desk staring in a mirror when Roman arrived.

"Ro ro , do you think I should wear my hair like this to the gala?" she asked, not looking up as he took a seat across from her.

"Franks back," he blurted out.

"Fuck no," she said dropping the mirror.

"Fuck yes."

"What the fuck? I was ready to bathe myself in champagne when I heard he got the boot," she pouted.

"I don't need a babysitter right?" he asked.

"Of course you don't."

Before Roman could respond her office door open again, revealing Tom.

"Hey slut," Drew smiled at him.

Tom grimaced and walked to her desk. "We need to talk," he said. Neither of them moved.

"I'm kind of middle of something right now. Maybe write me a message above the glory hole in the bathroom that you hand craved and I'll get back to you."

"Now!" Tom said.

Roman got up and went to leave.

"Kisses Roman, I miss you already," Drew said as he left the office. "So what's up?"

"You need to stop telling people around the office that I'm a slut," Tom said sternly.

"But I thought we were both referring to you as something you're not."

"What are you talking about?"

"You've told every new hire in the last 6 months that you are my boss," she explained.

"Dammit Greg."

"Tom, nobody here respects me. The last thing I need is for you to go around telling people that I'm your subordinate."

"People respect you."

"No they really don't," she argued.

"Roman does," he suggested.

"Roman loves me that's not the same thing as respect," she scoffed.

"Well I respect you," he said.

"I thought you did, which is why it's so disrespectful of you to go around under minding everything I do. Nobody here thinks of me as a power figure. That I only have the titles and positions I have because my father died and had no one else to leave his company to. That I'm clueless and incompetent. Logan only keep me around out of pity," she said. "I need people to respect me. You are in my corner, I cannot have you taking away the little power that I do have."

Tom sighed. "I'm sorry," he said. "I will stop telling people that."

"Thank you, that is all I needed to hear," she smiled.

"Now, as someone with power, what would you do if we're told some highly inflammatory information?" Tom asked.

"Tom, I love you but I don't have time to listen to your problems right now."

Drew stood in a circle, staring down at a wet spot on Kendall's carpet.

"You sure it was him?" Frank asked.

"You think a lot of people come in here and take a piss?" Kendall asked.

"Maybe you pissed someone off and this is their weird way of revenge," Drew suggested.

"Maybe someone spilled something," Gerri said.

"Yeah, maybe the massive fucking ice sculpture I forgot about melted. It's urine."

"This isn't a false flag, is it?" Roman asked. "Did you piss on your own floor?"

"Why are you looking like that? What if people knew?" Kendall asked. "Gerri you gotta talk to him."

"What do you want me to say?"

"Well first, tell him where to go pee-pee and poo-poo."

"He came in, he was talking to Stewy. What's he gonna do next, start jizzing in my coffee? Take a dump on my iPad?"

"He's still in recovery mode," Frank said.

"If he thinks he's OK to come back, he should talk to you Gerri and the nominating committee and set a date. Right?" Kendall asked.

"Well technically but it's kind of a gray area because-." she tried to explain.

"He says he's coming tonight."

"You're kidding," Drew and Roman said at the same time.

"Ok, we'll that a concern because obviously with major investors and press on hand."

"Yeah, I know. What if he freaks out? What if he falls asleep in his soup? What if he stars shouting racist comments?"

"Just another Saturday night baby," Roman said.

"We have a fiduciary duty not to let the company look nuts," Kendall said.

"And suffering from incontinence," Drew muttered.

"What did you do Kendall, when you realized he'd done this?" Gerri asked.

"What did I do?"

"Yeah, how did you respond?"

"I don't know, I didn't want to humiliate him. What?"

Drew arrived to the Gala excited for the night. She posed for the press before entering the event.

She was at the bar getting a drink when Connor came up.

"Con, great job tonight. You know if you wanted to you could really have a future in entertaining. I might have to hire you for my birthday next year," she complimented.

"Do you think the lighting in here is too dim?" he asked, stressed out about the details of the event.

"It's perfect. Hey, you excited for Ken's speech? I tried helping him draft it but he said all of my ideas were 'too much'."

"Kens not giving his speech," Connor said absentmindedly spanning the room. "My dads taking over."

Drew almost coughed up her drink when she heard that. "Well even better," she said nonchalantly. "I'm sure we are in for a real treat then."

She didn't know exactly what Logan was going to say but she knew that whatever it was, Kendall was not going to be happy about it.

Drew spent most of the party mingling with Tom and Greg before taking her seat beside Roman as the speeches began.

"My apologies reguarding the butter," Connor said over their shoulders before quickly walking away.

"Hey Rom," Drew said, leaning over. "I need to talk to you tomorrow about my responsibilities and future expansions. Okay?"

He nodded and she smiled. Drew was prepared to do whatever it would take to get ahead. Whatever.

The night progressed and ended with a shocking announcement: Logan Roy had no plans of retiring.
