I Awoke To A Bloodcurdling Scream. Angel And I Looked In The Direction The Scream Came From. Kobeni Stood In The Doorway. She Doesn't Know Angel's Ability Doesn't Affect Me. She Fainted And I Rushed Over To Her.
"Damnit." I Said. "She Must've Thought You Killed Me Or Something."
"Is She Okay?" Angel Asked, Sitting Up.
"Yeah. She Just Fainted. She'll Wake Up Within 10 Minutes To An Hour." I Answered.
Angel Let Out A Sigh Of Relief.
"Come On. I'll Make Breakfast So She Can Wake Up To Something Pleasant." I Said.
{Half An Hour Later}
"I Don't Want To Be Awake Yet." Angel Sighed, His Head Laying On The Island Countertop.
"Too Bad. We Need To Talk To Kobeni." I Told Him.
"It's Your Immortality. Why Do I Have To Be Here?" He Asked.
"You're The Reason She Freaked Out." I Retorted.
"Fine..." He Sighed.
"What...Happened?" Kobeni Asked, Starting Wake Up.
She Sat Up On The Couch.
"Good Morning, Beni." I Said.
She Stared At Me Then Looked At Angel Then Back At Me.
"You Were...Didn't He...I Thought..." Kobeni Stammered.
"We'll Explain Why And How I'm Not Dead." I Told Her. "Before That, I Made Breakfast So Come Here."
{An Hour Later}
Kobeni Stayed Silent.
"Beni, Are You Okay?" I Asked.
"...Are You Human Or Devil?" Kobeni Responded.
"What?" I Said.
"Are You A Devil Or Are You A Human?" She Repeated.
"I'm Human. Just An Immortal One." I Explained.
She Nodded Slowly.
"Why Didn't You Tell Me Before?" She Asked.
"It Didn't Feel Like Something You Needed To Know." I Answered. "And Every Time Someone Find Out, They Treat Me Different."
I Nodded To Angel.
"Always A Few Steps Or Less Away." I Joked.
"Hey!" Angel Exclaimed.
Kobeni Laughed. Angel Put His Chin On The Counter. I Didn't Look At His Face.
"Is He Glaring At Me Or Pouting?" I Asked Kobeni.
"Both." She Answered. "I'm Confused. Are You Two Dating?"
"No." Angel And I Said.
Kobeni Nodded
"y/n, I Have A Lot Of Questions." She Said. "Do You Date? If You Had Kids Would They Be Immortal?"
"Not Really And No." I Answered.
"How Do You Know?" She Asked.
"I'm Cursed, Not My Bloodline." I Answered.
She Nodded And Asked More Questions. Some Really Personal. I Shifted Awkwardly.
"I Think That's Enough Questions." Angel Interjected, Noticing My Discomfort.
"Sorry. I'm Sorry." Kobeni Apologized. "I'm Just So Curious."
