"Hey sis," James said as Karsyn walked into the house.

"Hey," she smiled at him.

"You were up early this morning," James said.

"Oh yeah. Alexa and I had planned on going to get coffee early this morning," Karsyn said.

Karsyn walked over to the fridge looking inside of it. Her eyes landed in the orange

"Orange juice?" James asked.

"Yeah. Why?" Karsyn said taking a drink.

"You just don't typically like orange juice," James said.

Karsyn put down the cup and looked at her brother. He was right, she actually despised orange juice. But now it tasted so good.

"You're right. I don't know. It just sounded good," Karsyn said taking another sip.

"Maybe your tastebuds are changing," James said, "You did always have the palette of a 7 year old."

"Hey!" Karsyn said offended.

"What? It's true," James said as Kendall walked into the kitchen, "Isn't that right Kendall"

"What?" Kendall asked.

"Karsyn has the pallet of a 7 year old," James said.

"I do not," Karsyn defended.

"You kinda do Kars," Kendall said.

"Told you so," James said.

"Whatever," Karsyn said rolling here eyes and finishing off her orange juice.

"You're drinking orange juice?" Kendall said, "I thought you hated orange juice."

"Would you two give it a rest," Karsyn snapped.

James and Kendall made eye contact before looking back at Karsyn.

"Jeez Kars. We were just messing around," James said.

"Well I'm not in the mood," Karsyn huffed.

"Okay sorry," James said.

Karsyn put her glass in the sink and walked up to her room. And that is where she stayed for the rest of the day. James had tried to get her to come down for dinner but she wouldn't come out of her room. So many emotions were going through her mind.

Rolling over in bed Karsyn let out a huff. She looked over at the clock. 2 am. A grumbling in her stomach made her realize she had eaten anything all day. Letting out another huff she pulled her blanket off of her body and made her way down stairs.

Looking in the cabinets she decided to pour herself a bowl of cereal. The warm air hitting her skin when she walked outside gave her goosebumps. She walked to the edge the of the pool and stuck her feet in.

Finishing her bowl of cereal she set it off to the side. Closing her eyes she took a deep breath. This had been the most peace she had all day.

"Couldn't sleep?" a voice said behind her.

Karsyn's eyes shot open, before even turning around she knew exactly who was standing behind her.

"No. You?" she asked.

"Nope," said Kendall coming and sitting down next to her.

Karsyn didn't look at him, she couldn't. If she did she would start crying again.

"Are you okay?" Kendall asked.

"Yeah I'm fine," Karsyn said.

"Kars," Kendall said putting his hand on her thigh.
