Big Time Hookup

Chapter 5

2 weeks later

Karsyn's eyes popped open as she got a familiar cramping feeling in her stomach. Quickly getting out of bed and making her way to the bathroom, her suspicions were confirmed. She had gotten her period. A sense of relief washed over her as tears came to her eyes. Her period had been a few days late and she was starting to worry, but it had finally come. Kendall was going to be so relived when she told him.

The past few days Karsyn had been mentally preparing herself that she was pregnant. She kept telling Kendall that everything was fine and that sometime her period was late. He had encouraged her to take a test but she just kept pushing it off, not wanting to know the truth. Her period coming was proof enough for her, she wasn't pregnant. Even though she was crying tears of relief, deep down inside of her she knew that some of them were tears of sadness. Though she felt stupid. How could she cry over something she never had in the first place.

After quickly cleaning herself up, she made her way to Kendall's room. Not even knocking she pushed open the door. There on his bed laid Kendall sleeping peacefully.

"Kendall," she said poking his cheek.

Kendall groaned slapping her hand away from his face.

"Kendall," she said a little louder.

Nothing. He didn't move not one bit. She grabbed the pillow and held it over her head.

"You made me do this," she whispered before smacking him in the face with the pillow.

Kendall shot up out of bed. Just like he had the previous time Karsyn had woken him up like this.

Kendall looked over at Karsyn and frowned, "Why do you insist on always waking me up like that."

"Because you won't wake up any other way I try and get you up," Karsyn said.

"What time is it," Kendall asked looking at the clock, "6 am!"

Karsyn eyes got wide. She hadn't thought to check and see what time it was before coming down here.

"You better either be here to tell me you got your period or that your pregnant," Kendall said laying back down, "It is too early for this."

"That's why I'm here," Karsyn said making him sit back up.

Kendall stared at her wide eyed, "You took a test?"

She shook her head, "I got my period this morning."

Kendall just sat there looking at her. Karsyn tried to search his face for anything. Relief, happiness, anything. She almost thought she saw sadness flash in his eyes before he blinked and a smile appeared on his face.

"Well that's great," Kendall said.

Karsyn smiled nodding her head.

"I was begging to worry since you were supposed to get your period a few days ago," Kendall said, "But now it's over."

"It's over," Karsyn.

Kendall and Karsyn had always been really good friends. How could they not be when they were always around one another. But over the past month their friendship had grown more. Karsyn wasn't sure if it was because they had this secret that no one else knew, well besides Alexa, or if it was something more.

She had grown so use to spending most of her time with Kendall. They had even discussed the possible child growing inside of her a few times. Now that, that was over she knew things were going to change.

Kendall pulled Karsyn into a hug. She blinked her eyes quickly trying to get rid of the tears that were threatening to spill if he kept hugging her. Karsyn pulled away and looked at Kendall.
