Y/N POV

I walked through the school with my fellow soul reapers, blending in is such a pain. Nearly forgot what it meant to be truly human ever since I died. I entered the classroom with Renji, Ikkaku, Yumichika, Rangiku, and Toshiro. He looked confused and was pretty defiant, until Rukia came to snatch his soul to go fight a hollow. We then made our way to his house, Rangiku and the others going through the roof, while I just teleported inside his room. Toshiro then began giving the breakdown of Arrancars and hollows, knowing the fraccione of Grimmjow plan to attack. Meanwhile everyone argue about where they stay, I'm tasked to never leave the side of Toshiro and Rangiku, they currently have custody of me. Even though I'm one of Renji's best friends, he wouldn't be able to stop me anyway. He's weak, that Bankai of his is incomplete. I sat in Orihime's house, meditating with my Zanpakuto, though I'm no where close to Bankai, I still have my Shikai. Considering my skills with a sword have increased drastically since the academy. I use the best of my abilities with my hands and feet, but I'm not used to fighting one armed. My entire balance has shifted, I need to get used to it, or wait for a new arm to magically replace my old one.

Timeskip

Coming out from my gigai and on top of the roof with Rangiku and Toshiro. Readied my Zanpakuto not even in sealed but already in Shikai form. Getting some use out of it on this special occasion, as 2 Arrancar have already arrived to deal with Rangiku and Toshiro. I may not even need to fight, Ichigo is willing to protect Chad and Rukia steps in. Going after Grimmjow with a Shikai is suicide, Ikkaku will release his trump card. On the bright side the 3 of us can jump Grimmjow can maybe put him down. Shit there's also his release form, which no of us will survive unless Hitsugaya joins in. Bingo, I fight everyone taking them down, one by one, till Grimmjow himself has to retreat.

Y/N: "Captain Hitsugaya and Lieutenant Matsumoto, you will not beat these Arrancar with the seal you have. NYOIBO, EXTEND!"

My Zanpakuto went from the size of a cane to a staff, as I attacked Nakeem, striking him. Using a complex fighting style developed on my own, using the staff to deflect his strikes and knock him down. Jumping high in the air and extending the staff through his skull and through Orihime's house. As the staff shrunk, going back to it's normal size, I looked at Shawlong.

Y/N: "Once you to get permission to take the seal off, we need to attack one of the Espada here. He can kill all of us and destroy this town with ease. It's urgent we drive him out or everyone here will die! NOW NYOIBO EXTEND!!"

The staff struck Shawlong in the chest and pushed him back a considerable distance. While Rangiku was still giving permission, I shortened the staff and went into battle with the 11th Arrancar. Though he was stronger than Nakeem, I didn't wanna give him the time to transform. The second he gained distance I tossed the staff at him, charging a kido attack. Flash stepping to his face and using Sokatsui. Seeing nothing but dust as I went to grab my Zanpakuto, a little exhausted. As the soul society finally gave permission to release the seals, in the distance I could see Renji finish his battle. I already know Rukia finished hers and Ikkaku will release his Bankai, so I can't butt in.

Y/N: "Captain Hitsugaya, go help out and Help Ichigo and Rukia before it's to late. Rangiku go do the same, Renji will also come help."
Toshiro: "What are you going to do?"
Y/N: "Check on Ikkaku and Yumichika. I'll come help after I get them to."

Seeing the large pillars of flames from the distance, I go to check it out only to see Ikkaku still standing, under the fist of the Arrancar.

Ikkaku's POV
"I never would have guessed there would be this much difference in our power. I guess there's no choice. I really didn't want to use this here, but since everyone's off fighting somewhere else, I suppose nobody's going to notice. Now. Watch carefully, my block-headed friend, and don't tell anybody you saw me doing this. You think you have me on the ropes? Well I've got a surprise for you! BANKAI!" I said.

The wind spiraled is around me out of control destroying the surrounding area, as the wind began to clear, I had won.

"You're planning to use Bankai?" Said the Arrancar.

"That's right. Bankai. Ryumon Hozukimaru!" I responded.

"An impressive display." Said the Arrancar.

"Don't try to throw me off. I haven't released enough spiritual pressure yet to impress you. But believe me, pal. It's coming. You can decide if it's effective or not. After I use it to cut off your ugly head." I responded.

The battle took to the skies, as he began to throw a punch at me, I slashed through it with ease, dismissing the attack. Going for a second one to cut off his head, as he blocked it the blade kept going through, till he threw me off.  I began spinning the back blade and waking up my Bankai.

"Hozukimaru is finally awakening! He's such a slow starter. He's usually asleep when k use my Bankai. And he takes his own sweet time getting up. But he's no good to me unless he's fully awake. That's when his power activates. I'll have to force him awake by slashing up my enemy or letting him slash me up. I can monitor his progress by watching the dragon slowly light up on the blade. When it's completely red, his strength power will be at full strength. When that happens, I can start cutting you up like a turkey on a platter! Are you ready?" I explained.

The dragon was fully lit, ready to unleash an attack as he was as well, striking each other at the same time. The attack causing a large cloud of smoke, I knew I had won. But at the cost of breaking my Bankai, slowly falling out of the cloud of smoke and into the ground.
