"Five, Six, Seven, Eight!" The thick French accent filled the air in the BalletIII practice room.

Madame Georgina, a French ballerina in her mid twenties was flown in yesterday to New Yorks Arts &Sports School for the gifted. NYAS had their main concert coming up and everything would be done so the schools reputation was upheld.

Sophia Devita, daughter of the owner Joanna Winters, former Devita, leaned on the bars. Her feet were killing her from five hours in pointe shoes. She looked outside the window. Orange leaves swirled on the side walks of New York City.

"Miss. Sophia! If you don't wish to be here you may leave."

"Sorry madame." Sophia spun on her toes and went back to her spot, front and center as always.

"This all for today. Have a lovely Saturday everyone." Madame Georgina yelled over the clatter of pointe shoes and heavy bags.

"Soph, Mike is throwing this huge party tonight. You game?" Tessa Renolds, Sophia's best friend wiggled her eyebrows.

"Can't. Dinner with my male parental unit. I'm gonns head to my dorm and get ready." Sophia called over her shoulder.

Stepping on campus the late September wind pulled Sophia's long blonde hair out of its bun.

Gray hightops with golden studs crunched the leaves as she crossed campus into the dorm house.

"Sophia, baby! You haven't texted me back in ages!" Mike Brees the most annoying and some how most popular guy on campus wrapped an arm around her.

"Yeah, that was the point Mike." Sophia mumbled as she shook his arm off.

"Baby, we're only seventeen once! Anyway, party at my place be there." He shouted as he jogged off to a car from where his name was being called.

Gag me. Sophia thought. Opening the door to her dorm
