Because I Love You

Chapter 4

My eyes flutter open and I slightly yawn. Sitting up I notice that I'm not in my room. Then what happened yesterday flows back to my brain. I hug my knees as I bring up to my chest. Tears start to fall but I keep quiet by biting my lip. I feel my body beginning to shake. I close my eyes and try to calm down.
Suddenly I feel movement next to me. Turning my head I see Kenny laying on his back. I keep staring at him as tears still fall.

"Buttercup?" He says

"Y-yea?" I say with a shaky voice

He sits up and rubs his eyes. Afterward he takes one look at me and instantly pulls me to his chest. I gasp softly but close my eyes and begin to cry harder. He begins to stroke my hair and rub my back while rocking.

"Shhh it's gonna be alright." He says

The next time I open my eyes I see that it's 12 noon. Kenny smiles down at me and I smile back at him. He stands up, pulling me to my feet.

"You hungry?" He asks

Befire I could say a word my stomach decides to growl. My cheeks get hot as Kenny softly chuckles. He grabs my hand and we walk downstairs. Looking around I can see that nobody is home once again.
While Kenny stands in fronting of the stove I sit at the tiny kitchen table and wait for him to finish up. He turns around with two plates.
He sets one plate in front of me and sets down another one for himself. On the plate is two scrambled eggs and five pieces of bacon. We eat in silence and I play with my a little bit before eating. Kenny glances up at me here and there but gives me a small smile.

After eating Kenny lets me take a shower. When I'm back in his room He hands me a tank top with a pair of shorts that look like they belong to his sister. I put them on and they fit perfectly which shocked me. Then he hands me one of his orange hoodies. It's a little big but really warm.
After Kenny gets done showering and dressing we head out if his house. We walk pass my house and I tightly grip Kenny's arm. He places a hand on top of mine and gives a squeeze.
We end up at Stark pond where the other three of the boys are at. Stand and Kyle are sitting in front if the lake talking while Cartman is fishing. We walk up to the pond and stop. Everybody looks up when Kenny makes a noise. Stand and Kyle smile until they lay eyes up on me.
Then their smiles turned into sorry expressions. Cartman comes stomping and stops in front of us. He roughly grabs my hand and tanks me away from Kenny.

"Why are you hanging all over Kinny?" Cartman asks" unless you''re a fag?"

"Leave him alone Cartman." Stan says" He's going through something right now."

Cartman laughs and pushes me to the ground. I can feel tears forming in the corner if my eyes. He kneels down in front of me and starts poking my chest.

"So what if his parents are dead. Everybody loses parents sonner or later." He says

"Yea but they normally don't find their parents dead in their bedroom closet covers in blood and all cut up." Kyle says

I flinch as the memory comes flowing back. I try to get up but Cartman pushes me back down onto the grass. He frowns at me with rage written on his face.

"I should care why?" Cartman ask" He's nothing but a little wuss. A baby."

I finally had enough and pushed Cartman's fatass off of me. Standing up I look at everybody and take off leaving everybody shocked.
I hear Kenny calling out my name but I ignore him
