5- Mumza and Dadza

*3 days till twitchcon*

I didn't need to wake up very early this morning, but I did check my phone and I had the zoom meeting for reading my father's will at 10:00 so I needed to get ready for that.

I decided to dress a bit... Extra for the call, let's face it I was being petty towards my old hag of a mother who never let me wear anything if it had even black stitching.

I put on my red and white striped colored shirt with techno's sweater he gave to me and some black sweatpants. Christen brought me some breakfast which was really nice of her, Phil gave me his laptop to use sense mine didn't have a camera and according to him it would be "polite and respectful to keep my camera on".

If it weren't for him being... My dad, I wouldn't have listened.

"Hey dadza? Could you maybe... Be on call with me? Im a little scared"

"Only if you really think it's ok"

I nodded and Phil smiled, sitting down next to me on the couch and I pulled up the zoom link and joined the call.

There was the accountant... And, my mother.

"Raina how lovely of you to finally join us, please tell Phil to leave it's family only"

"He stays"

"Raina it's family"

"THAT'S WHY HE STAYS. now let's get this over with I have plans with mum after this"

"Raina your-"

"Not you"

The accountant proceeded to read out the will, he finally got to my part.

"So for Raina, Your father left you 50% of his savings along with a note I've been instructed to read out aswell as something I'll reveal after the note is read"

He read the note out loud for myself, the old hag and Phil to hear.

Raina I want to start by saying I apologize for not being a better dad to you. I know it's probably to late for forgiveness but I want you to take my money and spend it on things that make you happy, please listen to Phil, he was my friend for a while and I trust him the last thing I give you is the family cabin, it's already in your name and I want you to create good memories with it.

Again, in sorry I couldn't be better

"Well that's not very fair, Raina sweetheart give your mother the cabin you don't-"

"You are not my mom, Christen is more of a mom then you could ever be and she has known me for less time, at least she cares about me, you probably don't even know my favorite color or the name of my first pet. Now that this is over I'll expect the keys to the cabin to be waiting at my apartment, goodbye"

I shut down the zoom and sat back down on the couch, Phil engulfing me in a nice warm hug, Christen came in after hearing us and joined the hug.

"So you really meant that? You meant what you said and Christen and I?"

"Well yeah, My dead dad apologized through a letter when it was a little too late, my mother doesn't seem to care about me either, you and Christen are like my Mom and dad, you technically are sense you've taken care of me for so long"

They were both tearing up, even though Phil was trying to hide it.

"Hey, how about we go do some shopping? There's a mall real close to here, we can get little girl time"

"Like... Maybe a mother daughter day out sort of thing?"

"Of course"

Christen smiled at my excitement, Phil said he was going to go out and meet Wilbur and some of the others who just got to the US. Christen and I packed bags for the day and set out to wait for the Uber I had called.

The Uber came to pick us up then it dropped us off at the front of this decent sized shopping mall.

Mumza and I walked in and looked at all the different shops, stopping at a clothing store.

"Hey, go ahead and pick an outfit you can wear if you want a change of clothes for your cosplays, it's on me!"

"No Mumz- Mum, you don't have to do that!"

"I will not take no for an answer!"

I begrudgingly accepted the offer and eventually found a black and green stripped shirt and a new pair or leggings that had a pocket for my phone!

Mum payed and we set out, finding cool new stores and even getting stopped by a few fans and taking pictures with some.

Overall, the day was awesome!

And I love my parents
