The dragons return[Eragon fanfiction]

Blacium

It was not long after the dragon hatched that we decided to pick a name.We decided to go with blacium it means beautiful lizard in an ancient language that we were thought in the village.I picked the name because i thought that she was the most beautiful thing i had ever seen and she was still so small.Blacium was only the size of a cat.I was so overwhelmed that i fainted and i never faint.When i woke up i felt a burning in my hand.When i looked down a symbol had been carved into my hand i thought it might have been the baby dragon but then i thought that was stupid but then i remembered when i picked its name.It did not like any of them then as i said blacium it seemed happy.I new there and then that i would love blacium forever slowly i began to smile then i laughed out loud.Blacium made a rumbling sound with her neck that i soon found out was a laugh.I only noticed that the hilt of the sword was the same color as blaciums eyes.As i was looking at her someone knocked on the door mom opened it.Where is it a man asked and barged in.I don't know what you are on about then he hit her hard she cried out.I instantly picked up my sword and went over to him.What do you want i asked him.You know what i want he said and took out a dagger.Give it to me he shouted and lunged at me and took a swipe at my waste a blocked with my sword and cut his arm he cried out in pain.I tripped over the corner of the chair and fell over.He took this opportunity and cutmy chest luckily barley scratching it.I drove my sword through his side and he slumped to the ground.I checked to see how mum was feeling then i ran to the village.I got one of the gards and i told him what had happened we ran to the house and he took the man to jail.I checked on blacium and wondered if it was a boy or a girl.Kitty had been hunting rabbits but when she came home she saw something had happened.It was only then i remembered about the fawn so i decided to go and get it then i thought blacium might be hungary so i brought it back to the house and gave her some stale bread and water.By now i new it was a girl.She ate the food gratefully and let out a little grunt as if to ask for more.I cut up a bit of the fawn and gave it to her she seemed to like it a lot more the stale bread.

A week has passed since blacium had hatched and i brought her hunting with me and she would catch rabbits or rats.By this time she could fly but not very high.She was now the size of a large dog.I found out that we had mind connections and she was very intelligent.We were one and nobody could take that away.She was so young but she grows so fast.We were both in the woods and blacium was flying above the threes when she gave out a cry.Simon!!What is it.Hide she said.Just as he threw himself behind a bush a mighty gust of wind came at him as something landed on the ground.I tried to contact blacium only to get a mighty roar in reply.Then a voice spoke we know your here.It was a mans voice a powerful one at that.I told blacium to hide that i would call her if i was in trouble.I took my sword from its sheath and approched the clearing i kept seeing blue.Is it my imagination i wondered to myself.Then when i got to the clearing there was a giant blue dragon and a man was standing beside it.We are not an enemy.We want to know where you got your dragon.You mean blacium.Yes where did you get her.I got her egg from the local butcher.Bring your dragon here the man said.How can i trust you i asked .My name is eragon the man said.I am the leader of dragon riders and i didn't think there were any more eggs so were did he get it.I don't know where he got it he said he found it.Just then blacium came flying towards me she was tiny compared to eragons dragon.Eragon this is blacium i said and i am Simon.Eragons response was i am eragon and this is saphira.Only then did i notice the the mark on his hand and asked where it came fro showing hi the mark on my hand.That is a Gedwey ignasia all riders have them they are a mark to show you are a rider.Wait you said riders how many are there. Their is three from where i come from and i don't know how many else their is.I see you have a riders sword he said what this i said holding up my sword.Yes said eragon.See that jem in it that will hold power until you need it.Where did you get it.I got it with blaciums egg i said.By now blacium was laying in the long grass doing nothing.You are lucky he said your dragon wouldn't have picked anyone but you.Your dragon is probably a thousand years old only she was waiting to hatch for the right person.Blacium and saphira were deep in conversation now.Will you come with me to my hall eragon asked me.Why i asked so i can teach you he said.What do i need to learn.You need to learn magic,fighting and riding while your dragon will learn skills,fighting and maneuvers.I can't just leave behind everything i said.Think about it ask your family i am not going to force you its up to you said eragon.
