Madeleine POV
Madeleine is looking around for financier. Where exactly is she? The conclusion to her case is today.
Madeleine decides not to search further but goes to the meeting since he was 5 minutes late. He apologized for being late and was looking around for Financier.
"Where is Financier? If she does not come, that means..."
"Shut your trap, Mille-feuille." Captain Caviar ordered Mille-feuille Cookie.
"Hey, calm down." Oyster settled everyone down, "Okay does anyone know where Financier is?"
"She ended up leaving the Republic... She told me not to say where she was going." Captain Caviar stated.
What? Why?
"Why did she leave?" Madeleine asked.
"Can't say why." Captain Caviar replied.
"Maybe she feels some sort of guilt over the entire situation?" Madeleine asked.
"Well, makes some sense, Financier has protected Clotted Cream from when he became counsel till his soulstone shattering last week." Oyster Cookie said, "We will talk about this tomorrow, without Madeleine and without Mille-feuille present."
After the meeting was disbanded. Captain Caviar gave Madeleine the note Financier told him to give to Madeleine. He took the note before heading to his room.
It was nighttime, so he said a prayer before opening and reading the letter. The lettering was rushed and a little messy, but it was definitely Financier's handwriting.
Dear Madeleine Clookie,
If you get this letter, do not look for me. Everything is just getting out of my hands, and everything here is reminding me of the young council. I just feel so much guilt that I could not save the young council. I just can't handle staying here, so I am leaving the Republic. I am heading to the Vanilla Kingdom. Please do not tell anyone I am heading there and don't look for me.
