A/N: Once again, this is set after the events of season 8, so spoiler warning if you haven't seen it! One of my readers commented about liking the goofy side I showed of Richozzy, so I decided to write an entire chapter of it! Enjoy <3
Richelle's POV:
"Why are we doing this again?" Ozzy asked, sat at my kitchen counter. We were waiting for Kenzie and Pete who were joining us on a double date at a cooking class.
"Because it'll be fun!" I responded. He raised his eyebrows, shooting me an incredulous look.
"Because Kenzie and Pete are our friends and they asked us very nicely?" He continued to stare at me.I feigned my best puppy dog eyes.
"Because you love me?" I challenged.
"Alright, alright," he said, pulling me onto his lap. "But only because I love you." He kissed me softly and I smiled at my victory.A car horn went off outside.
"Come on!" I exclaimed, laughing as I pulled him unwillingly off of his seat and led him outside.
"Hey guys!" I said as we climbed into the car. "Ozzy's really excited for this, aren't you, Oz?" Kenzie gave me a knowing look as he faked a smile. After what felt like an age of arguing over who got to play the music (obviously, I won - who could say no to Taylor Swift?) we arrived at the restaurant. Pete opened the door for Kenzie and helped her out of the car and my heart felt warm. It made me happy to see my best friend find her person.
Upon entering the kitchen, we were told to each take our places at a workstation, so Ozzy and I settled for one at the back of the room. Personally, I wanted to be front and centre to show off my superior skills, but considering I had already forced Ozzy into this, I figured I had to compromise a little.
The instructor talked us through the process of bread making and then set us off on our tasks.
"So, what am I supposed to do with this?" Ozzy asked, looking down at the unmixed ingredients in the bowl.
"You have to kneed it," I said, giggling at his bemused expression.
"I have to what?" He asked, as I guided his hands into the bowl. He gagged as he touched the mixture and I fell into fits of laughter."Oh, you think that's funny, do you?" He asked, a mischievous glint in his eye, and he reached up and smeared dough across my face. I gasped and reached for the flour which I tossed over his face and shirt. Seeing the resolution in his eyes, I made to run away from him, but he came up behind me and locked his arms around me. We were both laughing uncontrollably as his tipped the remainder of the flour over my head.
We were still fighting over the ingredients when the instructor approached us.
"What do you think you're doing?" He demanded, a stern look on his face. We immediately stopped and looked guiltily at him, like children being chastised. We both tried to hold our laughter in, but as soon as Ozzy caught my eye, we exploded into fits of giggles once more."Right! Get out of my class!" The instructor shouted, but we just continued to cackle as we left into the corridor.
"You're right, this was fun!" Ozzy exclaimed.
"So, what now?" I said, trying to calm myself down. Ozzy glanced out the window and then shot me another mischievous grin.I squealed as he picked me up and tossed me over his shoulder, running outside into the pouring rain.
"Ozzy!" I screamed, kicking my legs. He placed me back on the ground and we were still laughing as we span around, dancing as the water flowed down around us.He ran at me suddenly and took me into his arms, spinning me around. I gripped my arms around his neck and wrapped my legs around his waist as he pulled me in to kiss him. Our lips moved in perfect synchrony, and yet it still felt just like it did the first time we kissed.
I leaned my head back and smiled into the rain.
"My God, I had no idea it was possible to be this in love," I said, unable to keep the words in.
"Oh, Richelle, you have no idea," Ozzy replied, bringing my lips to his once more.
